Unfortunately the Amazon purchased machine stopped looping the bobbin thread so I returned it despite Amazon offering me some $s not to do so. But I was keen to keep sewing on the same day so I bought another Singer M1000 instead that day. Subsequently I saw on You Tube this is a problem reasonably easy to fix. So I am very impressed by all the features of the machine, number of stitch selection and especially the reverse stitching function to provide lockstitch. This machine can handle pretty heavy fabric. Only missing variable stitch speed. All round winner for simple machine sewing more than just repairs.
