This particular vinyl (ultra gloss candy charcoal grey) is 100% a color match of Ford’s J7 Magnetic Metallic. Thank you VViViD+ Couldn’t be more satisfied

First time wrapper. No indoor setup. Weather was 70° and sunny with a light wind. My spoiler is faded from a bad OEM paint job. It's pretty common on my model and I am pretty sure there was a class action lawsuit trying to get going at one point. Anyway. I don't have time for that. I took about an hour to wrap my spoiler. The paint underneath was pretty bad, but all I did was wash it really quick, dry, and then go over with it ISO. The vinyl was very forgiving. I have painted my own cars with rattle can and roll on paint (Rust-Oleum method). I will never paint my cars again. This stuff is life changing compared to paint and I can now see why wrapping has taken the auto industry by storm. Sure. I made some mistakes on my wrap, but I am very happy with the end result. For $20, I can not complain. I used knifeless tape, but couldn't get it really work so a lot of my trimming was done by hand. You will get a better result if you take the time to learn how to properly use knifeless tape. I also used a harbor freight height gun on the lowest setting and this really helped to remove the bubbles and fingers I was getting. Cons: I have fingers under the bottom edge of my spoiler. This is not a reflection of the product, but my skill level and time I wanted to devote to doing the wrap right. Careful with your razor blade!

I used this stuff to recover an old drum kit on the cheap. No, it's not as thick as actual drum wrap, but it still does the job for my needs, which was for a set of drums that stay in my home studio. I kept the backing paper on as it adds some thickness to the product. Although the drums turns out nice, The wrap is on the thin side and if you look really close you can make out some imperfections in the wood of the drum shells underneath the wrap when the light hits them just right. Twenty minutes of light sanding prior to applying the wrap probably wood have avoided this. Overall I would use this again to wrap other drums.

It was easier to install than I expected. I was thinking I needed a professional, but I saw a few YouTube videos and figured out that if I messed up, and could pull up the film and try again. Removing the bubbles was a breeze. Just work slowly and deliberately when placing it on the surface. It’s was much better than paying a body shop for a paint job on an old car. I placed only on my hood only. I’m getting more for the car’s top to match the hood.

Wrapped chrome on grill surround and is a very close match to factory crystal granite grey for my truck (just a hair lighter but for $50 and 2hr vs $1200 for paint to match , it was well worth it !. Stretched real nice (not thin), heated great . I've never done vinyl wrap before it and was pretty easy . Just clean surfaces good . Time will tell how long it will last .
