Only issue I had was disabling signatures for the drivers. Windows would not recognize the drivers due to security parameters. Once bypassed the tool works flawlessly.

Downloaded the software online and the setup was quick and easy. No problems experienced yet. I operate a professional automotive repair shop and we have a couple of older scopes. I wanted a scope that interfaced with a laptop for easier screenshots and a larger display. This was considerably more affordable than the standard "professional" brand common to our industry but I figured it was worth the price to try it out. I am very satisfied with this unit.

Love this thing. Only issue I had is the software was not easy to locate AND the version available at time of purchase has a horribly notorious tendency to cause a crash when closing the app, and about a 99% chance of crashing the app if the scope becomes accidentally unplugged from the computer. Interface for it could be a lot better also but for the cost, I will happily deal with it.

Had no issues installing software on windows 10 , so far it works as expected , didn't take long to learn the menus , practice makes perfect , plan on buying better test leads , ones included work but are short and won't stand up to a lot of use

I am an IT person. I work on computers for a living and build high horsepower cars as a hobby. Using both Win10 and also Win7 was able to get software installed with very little problems, but the software is just horribly made. There is a button to start/stop capture that worked about 1/2 the time, I know it's not buffering because I'll hit stop then pull a lead and I'll see the drop appear on the screen which occurred post STOP. I have to unplug the unit to ensure I don't lose a waveform. Saving the data often resulted in files with zero bytes, requiring a recapture of a waveform you had to struggle to get to begin with. Tested on two different computers and Win10 and Win7. Website has same version of software I have, 1.0.30, so no updates there. I will be returning this, not sure what will replace it I guess I need to do my own research rather than trust youtube reviews. Little more work could have made this a good scanner, but they blew it for me.

I purchased this a month ago and being a Mechanical Engineer I think I had enough training to learn and read more to get a pretty good idea of how the scope should do. First I could not install on a Dell Laptop Inspiron (old one with Windows XP Pro. The driver did not install correctly and went to many gyrations to get it going. Second, as soon as software was installed and set up to read Secondary Ignition with the correct probes (HT-25 Aoto-Probe) windows found violations (probably on rules for the driver going over maximum parameters values-just as guess, I am not a software engineer). Got some decent traces on a 4Runner 1995 six Cylinder but it would freeze sometimes or did not duplicate results and required constant reloading of the software. I used version 29 that came with the scope but it work better and more stable with version 10 that I found in some forums. Later I downloaded Version 30 and work better but introduced other problems on the recording and Play functions of the software, getting hung up and not being able to re-use a file recorded. Wrong messages, etc I watched every review in YouTube and I watched more than 6, and also others sites failed miserable to show the good and the bad. Some reviewers should be ashamed of the job they did. Basically opening the box and not verifying the inner workings of the software from practical signals as easy as the ones that can be taken from the same Scope generator out put. Potentially it will be what the reviewrs calim: a good Scope at an affordable price. Please download the free trial version of the software or maybe explore to see of can be tested by yourself before you buy it. I will continue my emails to Hantek giving them what needs to be corrected. But if no major improvements before expiration of my time to return the Hantek in Amazon in (Feb 28,2019) I will return and buy Picoscope 2024A that seems to have very good software even I have never yet tried. Please buy in Amazon, your return is warrantied withing a period. Hantek will get the message or discontinue this Scope because of the hassle. I will be glad to give more details or answer any question withing my capacities.

I have been in the mechanical field for quite a while and I have seen everything that is offered through the tool truck guys (Snap-On, Marco, Mac etc.) and they all have a version of an oscilloscope with all he trimming and knowledge that a novice needs HOWEVER if you understand the principals of a harmonic wave and have a laptop, this is the way to go.

The product was shipped and delivered within a few days of my order. Everything was well packed and arrived undamaged. Everything you see in the pictures is included with your kit. The software installed easily on my Windows 10 laptop and the drivers for the scop installed without any issues at all. Overall, I’m very pleased with the purchase.

El ociloscopio no abre el software no lo uso siempre está semana comense a usarlo y fallo no habré el software lo use solo unas horas bien
