I was introduced to this brand by a YouTube Korean cook who explained the elements of Korean cooking. I was not aware that larger containers of sesame oil were readily available to home cooks. I use a lot of sesame oil and this brand meets my quality & quantity requirements. There was no leakage in transport. The oil is fresh and should remain so (longevity) in this container. The container is easy to use (versatile) for pouring and storage. The texture is smooth. The aroma & taste are superb. The smoke point is high enough for a variety of uses.

I loved this roasted sesame oil. I now use it all the time mixing it in different levels with olive oil or butter. Yummy

I love the rich flavor of this Sesame Oil and the size of the container is easy to store in a cabinet. The design has never leaked and it keeps the oil fresh for a long time. It's easy to pour out the perfect amount for recipes.

It has a nice flavor and doesn't seem too viscous. Price is very reasonable for the amount (56 oz/approx. 1.6 liters). It is a Product of Korea. I've used it for stir fry at the end but it's actually best consumed unheated.This is toasted oil and the smell can be intense so try it sparingly first. The can arrived with a huge dent in it ... If the lid is open (ready to pour) even holding the can squirts oil. It seems like other people have had packaging issues I thought it wouldn't be a big deal but it's now happened every use. I am little annoyed by the waste/cleanup. If your can is dented, exchange for a new one. The oil is a dark golden brown color from the roasting. Because the seeds are roasted at high heat, the oil resists oxygenation and rancidity better than regular sesame oil, making it stable for long-term storage. Toasted sesame oil has the lowest smoke point of the three types (refined/unrefined/toasted). Typically toasted oil is not to be used stir frying or deep frying but you can use it as seasoning at the end of stir frying. Mostly used as flavoring and in salad dressings and marinades. Such a great price and is perfectly good sesame oil. I love sesame oil so mass quantities is good for me.

It's good, OTTOGI brand is one of the two best lightly toasted sesame seed oils currently available. The only issue I have with this particular shipment that I got a bottle with only one month left before expiration date. I guess I would have to store it refrigerated to extend its life for there is no way for us to consume half a liter of toasted sesame seed oil in one month.
