I ran out for a few days and noticed a severe drop in energy and increase in fatigue, so I can say with certainty that they really do help manage my POTS symptoms. It’s VERY salty tasting! I got this as it’s identical to LMNT but a fraction of the cost. The lemon/lime was good. The watermelon was the least favorite, very artificial tasting. If you don’t like the taste of salt, you’ll want to skip, it’s VEARY salty. One star for great price. One star for some good flavors. One star for working well, we were in 100F hiking and it helped us a LOT! One star for quality.

The flavor is good and not salty, as many people have stated. It comes in different individualized flavors that do not taste artificial, unlike other ones I have tried that have a strong artificial sweetener flavor; these do not. My only concern is the amount of sodium it has. I got it because of this reason, since I have suffered from low blood pressure due to a nervous dysfunction called POTS. However, the amount of sodium is so high that my blood pressure increased significantly just from drinking a few sips of water with the powder in it. My blood pressure went from 100/78 to 128/87 while drinking this. I cannot return it, as Amazon does not allow returns for supplements. However, I would return it as the amount of sodium is way too high, even for someone like me whose blood pressure has dropped to 80/59. I will use half of the content and save the rest for a day when I have a low blood pressure reading. Other than that, I will not use it daily.

I tried these as an alternative to LMNT. It is hard to find high sodium electrolytes. LMNT tastes far better but these are significantly cheaper. The flavors are very artificial and you can definitely taste the artificial sweeteners. I liked the peach flavor the best. It tastes similar to diet peach Snapple. The watermelon flavor was undrinkable for me and I love watermelon flavor usually.
