I've been playing the guitar for 5 years, and this year I felt like giving a 4-string instrument a go. I thought I'd start with a basic one to figure out if it's worth shelling out more for a pricier model. I was browsing around on Amazon and came across this ukulele with a catchy name, REDPEPPER. Haha, I really dig how they painted the headstock black. Compared to those plain wooden ones, it looks way more stylish. Overall, it has a great look, and all the accessories mentioned in the description are included.The strings on this ukulele are made of carbon. It's a nice touch that they also give some extra nylon strings. That way, when the current strings wear out, I can swap them for a different sound. But the strap they provided is really cheap. I didn't have high hopes for it anyway. If I need a decent one, I'll probably just get it from Amazon. Here's a pleasant surprise: the frets are rounded. There are no sharp edges at all. Usually, you only see this on expensive ukes. The sound is not bad either. It's very clear and bright, just the classic ukulele sound.All in all, considering the price, I wasn't expecting much. But it actually has pretty good quality and is a nice option for beginners.
