I didn't look closely at this and expected an actual machete to cut some brush with. It's very lightweight, the edge isn't good at chopping, and the handle is just a string wrapped around the tang, making it uncomfortable and possibly even dangerous to use. I was unable to cut through even half inch brush without several hard swings, as there is just no heft at all to the blade. It's really a decorative/novelty item.

OK if you expect a "Decorative Novelty"... don't expect this to be a functional tool. BUDGET design and manufacture. Similar to a hardware store $10 item, except this has a "make-over" to make it look good
