WWE 2K series has been seeing significant improvements each year since they received a huge amount of criticism for the bug-breaking errors constantly plaguing your progress in their rendition of WWE 2K20. The game had more videos of hilarious deformations of some of the wrestlers faces or hair while doing things such as top rope maneuvers and the game just clearly did not receive enough attention from the 2K developers. But after taking a year off from releasing their annual releases of the WWE 2K games, (skipping 2K21), they bounced back to critical and fan acclaim with WWE 2K22. They had revamped the whole UI, brought back fan-favorite game modes such as WWE Showcase, and featured a jam packed roster full of legends in the biz, the top guys now and even some of the top indie wrestlers wrestling on lesser known shows such as NXT. And each year since the team has one-upped the last and I have to say, somehow, they have done it again with 2k25, featuring a MASSIVE ROSTER (biggest to date). It also focuses on the long and very educational history of The Bloodline, which is the dynasty superstars such as the cover star Roman Reigns and The Rock come from, but little did I know just how many amazing wrestlers this consisted of. It is truly a testament to their family and ancestors such as the HeadShrinkers and the Islanders and High Chief Peter Maivia, beacuse there are so many very very successful household names that became the next generation and to this day, continue to put out superstars such as Jacob Fatu & Solo Sikoa (not to mention Jey Uso & Jimmy) who all will be the future of the company. Hosted by Paul Heyman, it is a rare insider scoop to the massive dynasty and their impact on sports entertainment. Also, there are several new match types, the War Games returns but the Casket Match makes its much anticipated return and the Ambulance Match. Not to mention the always entertaining MyRise mode which features hours upon hours of entertainment. But I am not even finished. They one upped the modes this year with the inlcusion of a hub world where you control a created superstar of your own called Island Mode. You must tour Roman Reigns island and prove to him and the "Wiseman" that you have what it takes to become a WWE superstar. Dont expect it to be easy though, but it is surprisingly deeper than I initially expected. This Is the pinnacle of the series and the best WWE game we have ever had!
