high quality, low airlow, quiet.
Beautiful piece of engineering. And the packaging... Wow. Speechless. They've included everything you might need. The airflow is weak though, but what would you expect from the fan of this size. Oh yeah! And it's super quiet.

Works great, and it's very quiet!
Cools an SAS HBA card pretty well. I did have to use zip ties in order to attach it. But that is not really a surprise.

This little guy moves ALL the air
Needed a solution for a RAID Controller (PERC H730) that was continually running at 52c in a Fractal Design Node 304 case. Designed and 3D Printed a bracket for it, installed on the same port as the rear fan so it's cranked up pretty good. It's almost silent, and took my temps down to 38c continuous. Absolutely worth the cost.

High quality everything when you buy Noctua
Ordered a few 40x10mm PMW controlled fans to mess around with a few of our Xbox’s. With the proper splitter plugged into series s mobo to utilize stock fan and noctua fan everything works great! No usb wires all over the place which I love. Have purchases other noctua fans and heatsyncs for my PC but every time is just as good as the first! This 40x10mm pmw fan came with high quality 4 pin splitter cable, low noise adapter cable, 4pin extension cable, omnijoin adapter plug and 3m terminal connectors then mounting screws and rubber mounting darts. Spent the extra money and get you some noctua products you will not be disappointed!

Great quiet fan
Needed to replace a very noisy motherboard fan on my old Asus Sabertooth Z170 Mark 1. As one reviewer mentioned, I did have to take the corner rubbers off the top of the fan in order for it to mount properly. Could not find an adapter cable to use with this fan to plug it into ASST_FAN1 small white male plug so I plugged it into ASST_FAN3 Works Great, very quiet... Noctua Rocks!!!

Good quiet fans
First one was defective. Was making a bearing noise. Replacement worked well.

As always, Noctua is the best!
Yep. Noctua wins again! For those not familiar with fans and their intricacies, smaller fans often tend to be louder than larger fans. Tiny tiny fans like those 40mm and under can be painfully annoying as the RPMs reach breakneck speed. Noctua managed to keep the hub size so tiny, that there is actually room for air to move through the fins, instead of squeezing through the gap between the hub and the shell. This prevents that painful “whizzing” noise heard on most small fans. The engineering behind doing that is tricker than it seems, but Noctua doesn’t disappoint. It is DEAD quiet and moves decent air for the little fella. Great addition for hobby projects and PC mods. And as always, Noctua includes every adapter and amenity under the sun. The convenience included is alone worth the price. Spend the bit extra couple dollars, your ears and components will thank you.

My PC's CPU temperature was low (35 – 52 degrees). However, the Z690 chipset was hovering around 80 – 90 degrees. Way too hot for my comfort. Made a simple mod by zip tying a 4cm Noctua fan to blow directly at the chipset heatsink. The temperature drops to between 61 and 69 degrees. ASUS made a mistake of removing the heatsink fan for aesthetic reason.
