Got this cable to upgrade my kz-zs12 prox IEM's. I wanted to use the 4.4mm balanced end points with my DAC for better sound quality between channels. Cable and connectors are solidly constructed. Connections on the IEM side were flush and very secure. The 4.4mm connection also fit snuggly. Overall appearance of the cable is very nice. The cable itself is very flexible almost like cord or string. There is no bending resistance as in other cables that have bundled the multiple lines into a single cover or a single cover braid. The cable itself is what I call a "perfect" weave braid with smooth even shape that is very round. The braid also seems to not catch as much as litz style cables with fewer wires. The only hit for some on this cable might be the ear loops at the iem connectors. On many cables these loops are well defined and can be quite stiff, requiring a heat gun to reform or adjust. On this cable it is a simple shrink wrap sleeve that forms the loop that is very flexible but less rigid but hugging to the ear as in some other cables. I was unsure if the rigidity of the loops would degrade with usage over time but that does not appear to be the case. If you are looking for a not too expensive 2pin-c or qdc-2pin cable overall this is a great option.

Quality of the cable seems pretty good upon initial inspection. Better than the original cable that comes with the KZ ZS10 In Ear Monitors but still leaves a little to be desired. I read several reviews that mentioned that the earpiece section was bendable and able to be bent to conform to the curvature of the ear but that's not the case with this current cable (it may have been before but not as of 7/25). It's just a piece of pre-formed plastic to go over the ear section that has no adjustable memory. I'm sure that this cable will work for majority of people looking for a replacement, different length or color cable but the adjustable over the ear memory capability is a feature I require due to my ear shape and the moving I do when playing drums.

Well made cable. Fits the earbuds that have a protruding bi-pin socket. KZ AS10's and the like do not work. The cable quality was good, good flexible feel.

the short story - if you bought CCA C10 from HiFiHear (HiFi 1DD 4BA Hybrid Five Drivers in-Ear Earphone, CCA C10) and the come with the clear vinyl coated cord with the white control button, buy this Cable 4 Core High-Purity Copper Twisted replacement cord. The difference is remarkable, even to these 72 year old ears. the long story - i bought the above-mentioned CCA C10 earphones a few months ago and they came with what appears to have been THIS Cable 4 Copper cord. I was blown away by the sound quality from the earphones, but soon began to notice that they "cracked/crackled". Bummer. I went on Amazon to get replacements and, if i recall correctly, when i brought the original ones to Whole Foods for return, the replacements were shipped. Easy Peasy. But when i got the replacement earphones, they had a clear vinyl cord. i was perplexed, until i tried out the earphones and was then majorly disappointed - they sounded like crap! I contacted HiFiHear to see about getting back the Copper cord, like the one i had returned, but they said couldn't be done, they didn't have any. i searched Amazon and found the Cable 4 Copper cord, which looked to me like the one i had originally received. I pointed this out to HiFiHear, but sorry, they didn't have any. I wish listed the Copper cord and finally ordered them bc i just couldn't listen to the earphones with the vinyl covered cord. I got the Copper cord a couple weeks ago and switched it onto the earphones about 1/2 hour ago, I am now listening to Peter Frampton, All Blues, The Thrill Is Gone, and very happy to report that the thrill is back! If you have the CCA C10 earphone, the $9 for this Cable 4 Core Copper replacement cord with be the best $10 with change you spend today. On to Going Down Slow...

Does not sound exactly as the original cable it’s replacing but close. Still sounds good. Color and length is exactly what I needed.!
