Very effective and reliable I use it everyday to test silver and gold.

I want to know why the newer 18 K solution doesn't work as well as the older bottles used to work. I actually have half of a bottle of 18 K solution same brand… JSP… From several years ago and I found it in sure enough in a side-by-side comparison the old bottle works much much better than these new bottles that are coming out. Just not happy with this at all. Too weak.

These bottles either did not work at all or barely worked. Acid seems old/past date. I tried various new stones as well with no positive results. Super disappointed that I had to throw away every bottle except one!

Looks great in the package but when you go to use it it's very old liquid. Tested almost all of the bottles and it's not testing as it should, shows nothing when my other testing liquid shows positive for sterling silver. The bottles are all sticky and feels like the liquid has leaked and then dried on the outside of the bottles. And of course I can't return. HUGE WASTE OF MONEY!!! NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!
