I just got this today so I have used it exactly one time and did one room but oh my goodness! I can't believe how well this thing works. My carpet was not visibly dirty before starting. It's vacuumed regularly and I vacuumed it immediately before using the machine. Look at all that hair that came out! And the colour of the water. So gross! I now want to use this thing every single day until the water comes out clean. I won't... but it's tempting! It's also very easy to set up, use, and clean after. There are a few parts but everything comes out very easily and just rinses off nicely. I'm so impressed with this thing. Doing the hallway tomorrow! (ps, there's a filter in the sink drain, don't worry!)

My Bissell carpet cleaner just broke so I bought this during prime days. I have a long haired cat who mainly occupies the downstairs of my house which is all carpet. He on occasion hacks up hairballs and what not or will run his butt along the carpet if his you-know-what is in his fur. Sometimes my 1yr old will spill the cats water or the cats wet cat food has splattered for whatever reason. So I always have a shampooer in my house and have always shampooed my carpets in general. So far It’s done very well the few times I’ve used it. Its cleaned any stains up even old ones I couldn’t get up in the past. I haven’t had to pretreat, where with my bissel I would have to. It’s very light and easy to maneuver around. My last two carpet cleaners,Hoover and Bissell, were bulky My favorite is the hose/spot cleaner attachment is all there and ready to go. My last two were separate, so you had to go get the hose and hook it up and take it off, which was not convenient imo. I also like that it has a dry only option so you can really make sure your carpet is dry. Which brings me to the suction, it’s strong. My Bissel was not as good. I like the hair collector basket in the dirty water canister. It’s easy to remove the canisters for tossing out the dirty water, and cleaning it, or refilling cleaner canister. It is sort of loud, not any louder than the other carpet cleaners I’ve had but I don’t really care about that personally. Overall I’m pleased with this purchase it’s, kind of expensive but it works exceptionally well. I feel it’s worth it with the results I’ve gotten and ease of use. Plus it will last along time.

I’m so glad that I bought this! It is so easy to use and does any AMAZING job! I couldn’t believe how much dirt came out 😬 We were originally planning to replace our area rug but now don’t have to. I cleaned it with the cleaning solution that came with it and then went over it again with just warm water and the carpet now is so soft and clean! I love the just dry option. Carpet was dry in no time. As mentioned it’s so easy to use and clean after use! This is one of my best purchases!

Overall it's amazing and lives up to the shark brand. Pros: High quality material. Doesn't seem like it will break easily. As expected of Shark appliances. easy to use **as long as you follow the directions.** This is a carpet cleaner not a vacuum. Definitely cleans up tough and old stains. I mean pet stains that have sat for a year or more. Exceeded expectations. Simple design and good ergonomics. Easy to refill and clean. Cons: this model is designed more for spot clean ups and not entire rooms at once. If you intend to clean an entire bedroom carpet your going to refill at least 4 times. Dirty water tank is smaller than expected. I have to empty 3-4 times in-between refills. Power cord is a bit shorter than expected. Cleaner refills average $20 for 48oz. TLDR: Best for spot clean ups and will definitely clean it.

4 dogs3 cats, and brand new carpet. First, keep expectations real. This isn’t a professional carpet cleaner. It’ll clean your thin rugs REALLY well but you’ll need weight on the rug because the suction is that good. For thick carpeting, you’ll need to go over it lots…. The hand tool is AMAZING … don’t even bother getting out my little green machine anymore. The shark cleaner solution is amazing. Filling is easy, dumping has to be done frequently, like others. Moderately heavy but no heavier than the others. Nice long cord.
