A fairly decent purchase at 85k including all the sales and discounts. Some thoughts: The hardware is excellent - great screen, great build quality, excellent speakers. Everything about it screams quality. I'm moving from Fedora with GNOME to MacOS. It's taking some time to get used to the UX but it's fine till now. The only gripe I have is the dock - it does not seem to isolate the open apps on a particular workspace/desktop. I'm sure there are other apps that can do this but I will need to find those. MacOS does not seem to include any bloatware but I did take some time to wipe out the existing installation with a clean install - it gave me an extra 10GB space to work with. The battery life is exceptional. I knew it was going to be good but compared to my old Acer+Fedora laptop it lasts an entire business day which is good enough for me. USB C charging means that my 25W Samsung charger can also power it fairly well. Another part about the screen - I thought I was downgrading by moving from 15.6 -> 13.4 but I have gotten used to it now. All in all, it's a great purchase. I had some Amazon Pay points laying around so I got a dongle at a net price of Rs. 0.

Its my first time switching from windows to mac and its a great experience. Its light and blazingly fast. Pros Display is good, text is readable. Can zoom in on any webpage with gestures Trackpad is great, Gestures are smooth. 13" Size is perfect for portable use, you can always connect a monitor to it at home/office. Battery level is unbelievable, on light usage it easily lasts hours. Im yet to test it on heavy usage. Premium build quality, the moment I used it, its unlike any other windows laptop I've used. Software is mostly bug free, the popular phrase "it just works" is true, barring few apple intelligence related apps. Easy to learn MacOS Good for programming. Cons Although display is good, I wish apple had added 120fps + OLED. Need to buy a dongle to connect my monitor. Apple intelligence / siri is ok, not at the level where I can say its truly helpful/game changing. Regarding heat levels, it does get hot if you keep it on your lap for long time. I use it on the table so I don't notice the heat at all, but on my lap I can definitely feel the bottom of the device get hot.
