This is a nice red pepper spice that you can use to add as little or as much heat as you would like to you foods. It has a distinctive flavor profile. I have used it in both hot and cold dishes and it works well with both. I live in a rural area so being able order it through Amazon is a plus for me.

Love this. I have made a quick dip for dumplings 1:1 rice vinegar and soy sauce then as much chili flakes as desired. I have sprinkled the flakes on pizza and scrambled eggs. Good amount of quality chili flakes for the price.

It's sweet, intense flavor and medium heat add zip to all Korean recipes. I'm half Korean so I've been using this type of Gochugaru chili flake since childhood. Because of the pandemic, I haven't been able to go to my local Asian store, so I was happy to find this on Amazon. Decent heat but not too much, and it for sure has a much fuller flavor than similar spices on the regular supermarket. This Gochugaruappears to be much darker, maybe double roasted. One other nice thing is that each bottle is full of flakes and almost no powder. Love the plastic bottle, which is so much easier than the pouches I usually buy. Great stuff! I've only used this a time or two, but it is very tasty. I like the tang of it along with the heat. I don't find it too hot and of course all hot peppers have different flavors and the different seasonings in this make it tasty with a tang that I like.
