Works Great for Us!
I was honestly skeptical about a “wireless” fence, but this thing has been amazing. Setup took maybe an hour tops — no digging, no wires - just walk the boundary and the app does the rest. The GPS accuracy is surprisingly solid, even around some trees in my yard. My dog picked up on the warning tone within a day, and I haven’t had to worry about him wandering off since. The collar feels durable, battery lasts several days between charges, and it’s totally waterproof (my pup even fought the sprinkler!). Love that there’s no monthly subscription, unlike some other brands I looked at. Overall, totally worth the money - peace of mind and freedom for my pup!

Not worth your time or money
First, Amazon has been great and have replaced these two collars we purchased, and they did it free of charge. But ONLY ONE TIME. However, we spent over $700 on two of these collars and the base unit. We purchased them in June 2025. They worked well for 4 months. Then they began to fall offline and they do it continuously. No amount of research or restarting will make any difference. It's not our wifi. It shows a strong signal at all times and everything else works all the time. It's not trees or buildings. We live on an open prairie. We reset everything multiple times and every time they work for a while. The chat lines and help line keep telling us to remove the batteries and reinstall them. These units do NOT have batteries. We tried repositioning the base unit. We reloaded the app on our phones multiple times. Sometimes they just come back when we do nothing. We are at the end of our patience. We had really, really cheap GPS collars before that worked well for about 1 year on average. They were better than these. I will never spend any money for this brand again. Never.

Thoughtful design and great features—but make sure your yard is large enough!
I gifted this to a friend for her Great Pyrenees, and while it didn’t end up working for their current yard (more on that below), we were both impressed with the quality and thoughtful design of the system. First off, setup was super easy. The included instructions are clear, and getting the collar paired with the system and walking the perimeter took hardly any time at all. We loved that there’s no monthly subscription required for the GPS tracking—huge bonus compared to other systems! The important part to know: the collar requires a fairly large yard (at least 3/4 acre) and needs about 25 feet of clearance from roads or streets. Unfortunately, that made it a no-go for her current setup in a smaller suburban yard. However, she's planning to use it at their family farm where the space won't be an issue. If you have the yard space and don’t want to deal with subscriptions, this is a fantastic option. I’ve included a picture of her big boofer (very fluffy, so you can’t quite see the collar) and a shot of what comes in the box. The design is sleek, and it appears to be well-made overall! Nice collar with adjustable sizing for your dog, and she didn't have any issues with it out of the box, yay! Definitely read the space requirements before purchasing—but if you’re good on that front, this is a solid, no-fuss GPS dog fence solution.

Game-Changer! Reliable GPS Fence with No Subscription.
The PetSafe Guardian GPS Fence has been a game-changer for my large dog! Setup was incredibly straightforward, and I love that there's no monthly subscription required. The collar is genuinely waterproof and holds a charge well, giving me peace of mind when my dog is playing outside. The AccuGuard technology provides a reliable, safe boundary. If you want a flexible, wireless solution to keep your dog secure, this is an excellent investment. Highly recommend for medium to large breeds!

Great Safety Solution for My Puppy on a Busy Street
I’m really excited about this for my puppy. We’re still in the training phase, getting her used to her boundaries, but it’s already making such a difference. We live on a busy street, so being able to safely let her out into the front and backyard without worry is huge. The waterproof collar, long-lasting battery, and no-subscription setup make it so convenient. It’s also helping keep her from chasing after other animals she sees. This system brings peace of mind for both of us.

Easy to circumvent, making it useless!
You cant see where your dogs are with this system. You cant even see if they are in the fence. I gave 3 stars just because the fence itself does work(most of the time) and is in the right place. This doesnt work well for my dogs however, because they figured out that when the collar starts alerting them all they have to do is sfart running. Once they pass the 25 foot fence boundary line the collar just stops alerting them. I think if they make it through fast enough it doesnt even shock/vibrate. It just turns off and remains silent until they get back! No alert, it doesnt let you know where they exited the fence, nothing! It took my dogs 3 days to learn how to circumvent the collar making it useless. (I bought 3 for my 3 dogs) I have also been dissapointed with the charge. It takes 3-4 hours to charge and I have to charge them every 2.5-3 days. It will alert you when the battery has only a couple hours of charge left...even if that is at 3 am! For the manufacturer: please make the size if the boundary line manageable by the user. I want a 50 foot boundary line, not 25! 25 ft is too easy to run through. and 2nd, the option to keep alerting/remind the pet they are doing wrong and need to come back home...like a 20 second tone every 5 minutes until they return or something similar.

Worth the upgrade from the wired version
I have been a pet safe user for many years. When we moved into our new house in 2021 we explored fence options and went with the wired version of the pet safe fence. It was a pain in the butt to set up and took quite a while, and we had to buy a ditch witch in order to bury the wire and had to wait for the city to come mark the land before digging, but once it was set up, it was fine and it has worked relatively well over the years. However, in the last few months to a year we’ve had several breaks in the Line, And we were finding ourselves constantly having to fix the wires. This last time was the last straw so we upgraded to this one. I will say that the technology has significantly improved in the last five years. When we looked before there was not a version like this where you could easily manually draw your yard. The products that were similar were in the form of a central point with a circle fence, and would not work for our square yard. We did not want to have to limit our pets space or risk them going into our neighbors space. I set this up in 15 to 20 minutes, and put the collars on and my dogs are ready to go. The longest part was just waiting for the product to update the firmware. Now my dogs are already trained for underground fence so we didn’t have to go through that whole process again. I do recommend people take the time to go through that process. You’ll be happier than just hoping your dog figures it out. When I first started using underground fence products in the early 2000s I did not go through the process and my dogs would run past the shock once they figured it out. Taking my time and taking the full recommended several weeks of months to ensure they are trained is 100% worth it. I have two coonhound/hunting breed dogs and they do not cross the line to chase after anything including Deers, rabbits and turkeys that are frequently in our property. This product is very high-quality in appearance and definitely worth the money. The collar is lighter weight than previous. My only feedback would be that a better battery life for the collar would be appreciated. My previous dog fence collar had well over a month of charge. This one says it’s only about three days which will be an adjustment.
