CURRENT Medical Diagnosis and Treatment 2019

I am not write a review type person, but I could not help but to shout it to the roof top as to how amazing this book is! Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment 2019 is well worth the money! I am a new practicing NP and this resource has saved me so much time. Rather than thumbing through pages/pages of guidelines, this book puts need-to-know information in a succinct and easy to find manner. It is a hefty book to lug around, but I don’t mind because it helps me get through my patient care days with ease!

This book is easy to read and the topics are pretty concise and to the point. The information layout for each section is the same, so once you get the pattern down, you can easily find what you want to read about. Has up to date information,

Used the 2017 edition throughout NP school. It is so easy to use. I recently bought the 2019 edition in Kindle format for use on my phone now that I am a practitioner. It's an excellent resource.

I have been purchasing CMDTs for several years and I have been pleased with the excellent summaries and updated information on a variety of diseases and treatments. However, when I come across serious errors in the text it turns me off. I am not talking about typo errors or grammatical errors but serious errors of mechanism etc. An example may be found on page 1108 under subsection "C.Medical" as follows, "Disulfiram inhibits alcohol dehydrogenase..." That is not correct! Disulfiram inhibits aldehyde dehydrogenase. The editors should have done better.

As a PA student, this book was like a bible to me. They offered us the online version, but I really appreciate reading the book as a hard copy. Great disease summaries and easy to read.

I’m an FNP student and getting resources to use for clinicals and the rest of my program as well as for my future practice and I see that this will be a great reference for a long time!

This keeps you up to date on most things you would see in a busy general family practice. It is a quick way to look things up when you have a question.

Reasonably up to date for a medical text, considering most are at least two years out of date when released. (one year to write and one year to edit and publish.) I am seriously considering ordering a couple more as gifts.

Completo e aggiornato come sempre, su praticamente tutte le discipline internistiche! Per me ottimo per studio, ripasso e consultazione quotidiana!
