Brilliant little 4 port USB 3.0 Hub
I bought one of these hubs to use on my Xbox one X and it worked brilliantly allowing me to connect 4 controllers and play and charge kits at the same time, also the off buttons are really useful if you leave anything connected to the Xbox via the hub for extended periods of time and want to stop overcharging or just to turn a connected device off, this is a really useful feature when used with an Xbox because the Xbox one supplies usb power even when powered down. I was impressed by how well the hub worked with my Xbox one X so decided to get a 3 port with card reader version for my Asus laptop. I previously had a ugreen branded equivalent hub for the laptop and it had gone faulty and caused various flash drives to corrupt!! The Atolla hub has been rock solid reliable even when using an external 2.4 amp psu and connecting an external Blu-ray burner, HDD and ripping Blu-ray's to the HDD whilst copying data between another connected drive :) this was a task that would cause all manner of errors with the old Ugreen usb 3 hub. So then I bought another of these 4 port hubs and have connected it into one of the ports on the other Atolla 3 port/card reader usb 3 hub. To test reliability I ran 2.4 amps of power into the first hub via it's micro usb power input then ripped a Blu-ray to MP4 onto the connected HDD whilst copying files to 3 other usb 3.0 flash drives all with various speeds, and not a hitch :) Plus the fastest of the flash drives was hitting 300MB per sec when plugged through this daisy chained Atolla hub, the same speed as when connected directly to a usb 3.0 port on the laptop. I know this is a very long and detailed review for a seemingly boring and mundane product, but these hubs really are that good and have really helped with all my file transfer and video encoding needs for a really reasonable cost, something other usb 3 hubs I owned have failed to do and in some cases caused big data loss. These Atolla hubs are now my go to choice for stable cost effective data management/media creation 5*

Great usb hub
Still to this day a great usb hub, comes with a usb micro b port that can give extra power to the ports if needed, cable length might be a little short but works for what u want it to do, it is lightweight and is easy to use right out of the box

Small and sleek
I purchased this to extend the USB 3.0 ports on the front of our PS4. Having had to get an external hard drive we had no spare ports to charge the pad as the VR headset took up the second port. I was dubious that the pad would charge through the extender or that the VR headset connection would work, especially as this is passive with no external power source. I am very pleased to say that it charged my controller with no issues during gameplay yesterday afternoon, also the VR Headset works with no discernible lag or power issues when plugged through it. The design is nice and sleek and the ability to turn off ports not in use with the slider switch is a nice touch. The blue On LEDs are clear without being distractingly bright. The only real downside is the USB connector cable itself is very, very short and I cannot tuck the unit to one side of the PS4 so it sort of dangles off the front. Not aesthetically pleasing and could be a bit of a hazard if I'm honest. Hopefully once it has been in place for a week or so and the cable "softens" I'm hoping I will be able to tuck it away. Comes in no frills packaging of one recyclable cardboard box, no plastic inserts or blister packaging. Only thing you can't recycle is the thin plastic bag that houses the extender as a scratch protector during transit. For the money I am very pleasantly surprised at how well this little unit works. Nicely styled with function at the forefront - front placed USB ports and sliding switches mean you can (once you overcome the cable length problem) orient the unit to suit your installation. It works well for my requirements but if you needed to charge something heavy duty (phone, tablet, etc.) or run an external hard drive then you will need to either plug them directly in to your device or purchase a powered extender.

One of the Best USB hub around
I love these tings, I currently have three of these pass-through USB 3.0 hubs hanging of my Lenovo Legion T5 26AMR5 PC, expanding all my PC's rear USB 3.0 & 3.1 ports, thus allowing me add peripheral and USB drives without having to interchange things on my PC. These hub come with a port/ active switch, associated to each of the expanded ports. Meaning that you can turn certain peripherals off, should you have to, without having to get to the back of you PC and physicals unplug things. Which is great for testing, preserving power or tuning off peripheral which will interfere with any game. I also ruining TWO USB to HDI monitor adaptors off these USB Hub ports, giving my PC additional 1080p small screens without impacting my main RTX GPU.

Meh
The product serves its purpose, but is a bit flimsy and not really that well made. The on/of switch does not seem to have stable power delivery sometimes and does flicker. Not made to last.
