The ultimate gaming power supply.
This might be the coolest (pun intended) and most powerful power supply I've ever purchased. The price is a little steep but given the Dual 12v 2x6 outputs and the sheer power supply overhead of 1600 watts -- this thing will last for many of my future builds. 80+ Titanium with this much power is incredible. It looks great (not that it really matters, but it is a premium product) and the cables it comes with are fantastic. I wish the clips were a little better on the cables but otherwise its great. I do appreciate the 2x6 cables being yellow so you can ensure they're pushed in all the way (very important). Overall functionality is fantastic, noise level is low (it even has a zero fan mode which is great for a completely silent build when using the PC for just general computing). I could recommend this beast to anyone. Its shocking how so much power fits in such a small form factor. People cheap out on power supplies and often regret it. Just go all in on this one, you'll have it for a decade+ (especially given the 12 year warranty alone)

Great power supply, no noise, modern GPU connections
Although this power supply feels extremely overpriced. It is a wonderful piece of equipment. I had an old 1200 watt PSU that I thought would work with my system but to no avail. I have a 575w RTX 5090 GPU, a 5060 GPU, a 7950x AMD CPU and a x870e Tomahawk WiFi motherboard. The 1590 has the newer power connector on it. It came with a cable that merges for separate older connectors into the one input but that didn't work for me. The included cable connecting the newer output from the PSU to the 5090 worked wonderfully. Besides functionality, the PSU is packaged well and the unboxing was an earthmoving experience. It better be for this price. It's also very quiet and I've had no problems with it at all. My only criticism would be that the wires are separated rather than neatly bundled. I assume that does help with snaking it through certain wire harnesses where you need more flexibility than perhaps a more rigid cable design. I might end up swapping the power cables for RGB anyway. Regardless it's a wonderful piece of equipment and I hope it lasts a long time.

Lots of ports and cables great psu!
Excellent psu! Love the cables, they are very easy to work with. This psu comes with lots of ports and cables for all your needs for large PC builds. I personally needed one that was cable of doing two 12vhpwr cables for a dual gpu build.

Wrong country unit
I was shipped a European version of the unit and only realized it after installing with cables organized and all (because why would I check something like that, I live in Orlando). I have big jobs coming up and I don’t have time to ship it back. I was forced to order a converter that I’m waiting on (I didnt realize how difficult it is to find that cable or plug in the US) but warned my warranty will be void since it’s country specific. Failure on MSI, especially for paying as much as I did for this.

Very powerful expensive and elegant upgrade you won't regret!
If you're here then i doubt you mind spending a decent amount on your PSU i can tell you this msi 1600T pcie5 titanium boasts extreme power and excellent RGB lighting from the competition has silent fan which is a awesome feature smaller psu's cheat at. This one you'll likely never need another upgrade as it has the newer pcie5 gpu connection. Which asus doesn't have in this catagory. I definately say go for it. MSI is becoming king. Hit product after hit product.

A Game-Changer for My High-Performance PC Build
This MSI PSU is an absolute beast. My PC has never felt so solid and powerful, even when I’m gaming hard or running a ton of stuff at once. Everything looks super clean and organized thanks to the full modular design, and it looks amazing with my all-white build. The PCIe 5.0 cables have me ready for any future GPU upgrades. Plus, the 12-year warranty gives total peace of mind. This isn’t just a power supply — it makes my whole PC feel and look next-level.

I MISS EVGA!
don't fall for the fear hype that if you don't have an ATX 3.1 PSU, your going to burn up your 50 card actually the opposite is true read the bottom update to 100% fix any cable burn, cable melting or 16pin plug melting issues! in 2018 i bought 2x EVGA SuperNOVA 1600 T2 80+ TITANIUM, 1600W for $294 and i wish i could have bought a third one. literally the specs on the EVGA supernova T2 are the same as the MSI 1600 in watts and amps but the MSI is 2.5x more in price??? the EVGA may not be 3.1 compliant but it was design to handle 4x GPUs in SLI and supply over 1300 watts of continous power just on the graphics cards for hours without failure. ive had both supernovas running for 8 years with a perfect record i bought the MSI 1600 for a third PC build to replace a 2007 SilverStone Decathlon DA1200. its been almost 20 years and that PSU is still running only being replaced by obsolescence as the the decathlon only has Dual PCI-E 8pin and i need 3x 8pins to power a 5070 TI some people love CPUS and GPUS im a fan of premium MOBOS and PSUs and a bad PSU can literally fry your entire set up especially with the horrible NVIDIA 16pin cable and here is my issue with the MSI, besides being over priced, and offering features not needed you can see by the thermal camera that the 12pin wire runs super hot while the other cables are blue and purple cold. i was able to cool the cable using dedicated 120mm fan and 2x 60mm fans to cool the cable these cables are failing for 2x reasons 1. they run too hot!!! if your going to use these "modern" PSUs cables then you really have to think about cooling the 16pin cable in 2026!! 2. second big reason for wire burn is people bend the wire side to side, examples have shown if you bend the wire side to side you actually destroy the insulation causing the outside wires to fail and forcing more watts through the other cables causing a cascading failure! always bend the wire up or down curve i noticed the inner wires run the hottest so i spread out the wire and having the fans run across the wires cools it down in comparison the EVGA supernova using 4x 8pins and the adapter, the cables were blue cold on the thermal camera even ruing under full load for over and hour so this PSU is supposedly the best of the best for 2026 but because of this wire over heating issue i simple don't trust it to run my main pc now that a 5090 is around $4000 to $5000! these tests were done in the spring and summer heat is going to be over 100F so the wires will get danger hot, this is why the Supernova will run my main PC for now and i can use this MSI MEG for test benching i personally recommend buying a thermal camera its the only real insurance to catch an expensive problem from happening. this PSU is good; the real fault is NVIDIAS horrible 16 pin design, but hey the MSI does come with 8pin cables so i personally recommend using the 8pins with adapter your GPU came with and leave the 16pin cables in the box. this is the best solution the melted wire cases are coming from Chinese 3rd party adapters (never use them) and the actual 12pin cables from new PSU. honestly i wish MSI would sell 8pin to 16pin adapter cable separately UPDATE i went with my suggestion i threw out the single 16pin and used the older 4x 8pin cables with the MSI adapter you can see the last 2x thermal images of the PSU all the 8pin cables are stone cold after an hour of bench marking; and the cable going into the GPU is also stone cold amid the backdrop of the hot Metal cooler so there's the solution to cable burn just keep using the old 8 pins with the adapter the GPU comes with, and one day if GPU makers don't want to supply the adapter then stop doing business with them; that simple
