I use this to hold my tablet while in bed and it's built very well. The arms are sufficiently stiff so there is no lagging when holding weight. I'm probably going to by a second one for my partner.

After some time of use, it no longer holds my iPad in place. When I set it in a specific position, it slowly lowers due to gravity. I tried looking for a way to tighten or adjust the joints, but I couldn’t find anything. 2. Another issue is the holder for the iPad. This stand is exactly what I was looking for. It holds my iPad securely and fits perfectly without wobble. The arms are extremely stiff and strong in a good way—there’s no unwanted sagging or movement once it’s positioned, but adjustments are still smooth when you want them. It’s a very sturdy, solid piece of metal and feels well-made and durable. On top of that, it looks great on my desk/chair setup. Overall, a high-quality stand that feels built to last.

One thing to note: because of its weight and grip, it works best on a thicker, heavier tabletop. On a lighter desk, moving the stand might shift the entire table, so keep that in mind.
