Beautiful Softness & Shine But Little Mud
(Not a Vine Review) This shampoo lathered well enough although I used a bit more shampoo than usual. I followed up with two squirts of Unite leave-in conditioner. The combination of shampoo and conditioner left my hair exceptionally soft and shiny. It doesn't have as much body as when I use K18 shampoo but it created more gloss than any of my other shampoos (see photo). What concerns me is that the name implies that Boreyong Mud (aka sea silt) is a large part of the product when, in fact, it is marginal. Sea silt is listed on the ingredient list (see below but it's even lower on their list) as the 20th ingredient as compared to Redken Oil Detox shampoo (similar to my favorite Redken Solve) which has Kaolin listed at the 4th highest ingredient. I've been using this shampoo for several weeks. My hair looks great for two days but my scalp gets itchy and oily on the third day. The Redken shampoo gives me more relief from itching but doesn't look as good. K18 lets me go three days between shampoos. Redken Relief Mud Damage Care Shampoo: Water. The way I love this shampoo is unreal. My hair feels great. This stuff not only cleans but heals. My hair feels great and you only need to use a little bit.

Good for the scalp, maybe good for other places, too?
I am not an expert when it comes to beauty products, especially when it comes to hair products. I'm trying to elevate my skin and hair care routines, though, and I've hopped on the K-Beauty bandwagon in the process. I've been using "natural" but widely available shampoo and conditioner for a while now and they were... fine. I just tried out a new Korean conditioner the other day and loved it, but I paired it with my essentially drug store brand American shampoo. My BRMUD arrived the next day so I used them together in the shower this evening. I wouldn't say I typically get dandruff unless I don't wash my hair for an extended period of time, but I don't think that is even technically "dandruff." When I shampoo, I always try to scrub my scalp and it feels like chunks of dead skin come off under my fingernails. Gross, I know. When I read that this BRMUD shampoo is supposed to remove sebum and cleanse the scalp I was extremely hopefully that it would fix that situation. I've only used it once so far but I really feel like it did the job. It has a slight cool tingly sensation on the skin and makes you feel very clean, and after scrubbing my scalp with it for a few minutes I felt like there wasn't nastiness coming off in chunks anymore. The shampoo itself has a sort of herbal scent, it reminded me of tea tree oil but not quite as aggressive. It lathers beautifully; thick, luxurious suds formed as I scrubbed my head. I felt like it did such a good job cleaning up my scalp that I actually used it as a body wash in areas where I have a similar issue with dead skin and never feel like I can exfoliate well enough. I felt great after using it. The only problem with it is that the pump was broken upon arrival, but not to the point it's not usable, just to the point that it's kinda sharp. It'll keep me on my toes.

Boryeong’s Best - A Shampoo Worth the Hype
I’ve quickly fallen for BRMUD’s products! Their unique formulas, featuring real mineral-enriched mud from Boryeong, truly set them apart in the crowded haircare market. Learning about Boryeong’s annual mud festival and its reputation for therapeutic benefits added an extra layer of intrigue and appreciation for this brand’s heritage. At first, the idea of mud in shampoo might seem unconventional—if not downright odd. However, my experience with BRMUD’s shampoo completely exceeded my expectations! Its soft, off-white hue pairs beautifully with a refreshing minty aroma that instantly invigorates. The shampoo produces a rich, luxurious lather that feels indulgent as it deeply cleanses both the hair and scalp. After heat styling my hair as usual, I was thrilled with the results: natural, healthy shine without any sensation of being over-stripped. For a product with such effective cleansing power, it strikes an impressive balance by leaving my hair strong, smooth, and residue-free. The value for money is equally impressive. For my shorter hair, a mere dime-sized amount was enough to create a thick, foamy lather—a little goes a long way. I anticipate this bottle will last for months, even with daily use! While my hair isn’t particularly damaged, I noticed an immediate strengthening effect without added greasiness or build-up. All in all, this is a stellar product that I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone curious about the power of Boryeong’s mud. BRMUD shampoo is a delightful blend of heritage, quality, and performance.

Broken pump
I’ve ordered 3 different times and the shampoo pump have always arrived broken. It’s upsetting because these are not cheap!
