Seem to help but so expensive
These are quite different to other spot patches that I have tried. The others have been hydrocolloid and designed to absorb gunk from nasty spots that are ready to discharge. That kind are very satisfying to use and you get a very good visual of the gunk that has been absorbed when you remove them. However, these patches are quite a different kettle of fish and I was initially quite dubious about them. In the spirit of testing even dubious products I receive, I whacked one of these onto a really nasty looking deep spot that was forming on my cheek but that hadn't yet formed a whitehead on top. I left it on overnight, ready to write my negative review when the very thin bit of plastic did nothing. But, by the morning, the spot had gone down a bit. I thought it was perhaps just the fact that covering the spot had stopped me from squeezing it, but I used another patch during the day the next day, and then another overnight. By Monday, when I had to face going into work, the spot had largely settled. I thought the improvement might be a coincidence, so I've tested the patches on a couple of other spots that haven't yet formed heads (if you read the listing, these aren't intended for spots that have formed heads - you would be better off with the hydrocolloid kind for those) and they've worked pretty well (though not as dramatically) for those. So, I think these patches do work if you are targeting the right kinds of spots. However, I have gone through half the pack in just three days. If you are someone who gets one or two spots a month, or you have a big event coming up (e.g. you have a breakout a few days before your wedding), these may represent decent value. However, for day to day use for someone prone to spots, you may get better value from other products.

It is very thin not that visible to attract attention, it works well too, it sticks very well.

just what i needed
Not only do those kind of spots look red and imposing but they also hurt a bit! this really helped not let it become angry but made it kind of go away and not develop! Good to have to hand for those moments! thanks

Spot patches for sensitive skin
So pleased to finally find some spot patches made for sensitive skin. These reduce the size and redness of my spots whilst being discreet enough to wear out and about as they're clear, with no irritation to my skin. Different sizes are handy too. My new bathroom cupboard staple.

Zero Result
Tried for 3 days. Applied for 6 hours still no result. Not even 1%. Such a big name but proud quality zero.

Calms early spots, discreet, comfortable, good value
I’ve been using the Cetaphil Gentle Clear Pimple Patches for a few weeks, and they’ve quickly become a go-to for me. They’re best for spots that are just starting to form — before a whitehead pops up. They help calm redness and swelling, keep the area clean, and stop you from picking, which is honestly a lifesaver. The patches are thin, flat, and clear enough to wear during the day or under makeup, though they’re a little noticeable up close. Overnight, they stick well, even if you toss and turn, and in the morning, the spot usually looks flatter and less angry. The salicylic acid and CICA combo seems to shrink spots faster and soothe irritation. They won’t completely zap a blemish in six hours, and you’ll go through patches quickly if you get frequent spots. But for early-stage breakouts, they work really well, are comfortable to wear, and you get a lot in the pack for the price. Definitely handy to have stashed.
