I bought these for name tags at work. They look EXACTLY like the pictures! They work really well. It's a strong magnet that can hold the name tag in place easily, and the adhesive is really good at sticking. I used UV-Resistant Plastic name tags (bought from McMasterCarr) and these backings worked very well with them! A huge pack so I have a ton extra, but at the time of purchasing this product (july 2016) it was the best deal available (price per piece).

I have purchased before. Will continue to buy more for other projects. Well made. Decent strength. Compact. And, yes, I completely used up my first order of 100 !

An organization I belong to has an emblem which we pin on for each meeting. Pinning and unpinning the emblem was getting more difficult, especially as some members were aging. We found an appropriate applique at a fabric store and glued the magnets to the back so our emblem could be permanently affixed to the applique and we would could use the magnetic backing to affix it to our clothes. No more pin holes in clothing, or fumbling with the tiny pin clasp! These magnets worked well and arrived quickly after ordering. My only complaint (which is minor since it really didn't effect my usage) is that the adhesive strip on the back of the metal plate was not strong enough to hold it to the applique. Therefore, we had to glue it on. But it may work well on other materials. All in all a great product. I would order them again.

We don't actually use these for the intended purpose (badge holders). They make excellent refrigerator (or filing cabinet) magnets at a great price!

Just couldn't believe how strong these little magnets are! They hold tight through several layers of clothing, even through sweaters. Using them for reunion name tags - just don't like the pins, and the stick-on name tags have too many types of clothing they shouldn't be used on. These are perfect! A little pricey, but You get what you pay for, and in this instance I got every penny's worth! Will definitely purchase again!

These are easy to use, but don’t stay adhered. These magnets are Super strong. But if you happen to pull the magnet off of your name tag instead of slide it off, the foam tape that adheres the metal bar to the name tag is very weak rips right off. So you end up with a magnetic back stuck to a metal piece, but not to the name tag. I think I’m going to have to purchase some 3m foam tape and redo them all.

I ordered 400!! EVERY magnet I have attached to one of my products has fallen off and I have had to issue a replacement / full refund to my customers. These magnets have cost me a fortune!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM. They took so long to arrive I was unable to return them within 30 days
