My mitochondria are throwing a rave and I’m invited
First Impressions Nutricost always keeps it clean and clinical—no flashy branding, no “biohacker guru” upsell. Just a big white bottle that basically says: Here’s your NAD+, now go chase immortality. Inside: 120 vegan, gluten-free capsules, 1000mg per serving (2 caps), 60 servings per bottle. Translation: two months of pretending I’m Benjamin Button. Why I Like It Energy support without the jitters. It’s not like drinking rocket fuel—more like my cells finally remembered how to adult. 1000mg per serving means I’m not under-dosing. I’d rather take 2 pills than 10 minis. Vegan + gluten-free. So my mitochondria get happy and I can smugly tell people my supplements are plant-friendly. Capsule Experience Medium-sized, smooth, and easy to swallow. No taste, no weird after-burp (shoutout to fish oil for setting the bar low). Serving is 2 capsules—doable, not a chore. Value Other brands will happily charge you double for “longevity in a bottle.” Nutricost just throws it at you straight: 60 full servings for a fair price. Considering NAD+ is the trendy biohacker darling, this feels like getting VIP access without mortgaging the house. Pros Legit 1000mg dose. 120 capsules = 60 servings. Vegan, gluten-free, no junk fillers. Actually affordable compared to the snake-oil competition. Cons Serving size is 2 capsules, so the bottle runs out in 60 days. Doesn’t come with a free cryogenic chamber or eternal youth guarantee. Bottom Line Nutricost NAD+ is the kind of supplement that makes you feel like your cells just got a software update. It’s clean, dosed right, and won’t drain your wallet.

It gives me an energy boost
This is a good NAD+ supplement for me. It gives me an energy boost just like Life Extension't TruNiagen NR (the 300mg one). The background to this review is that I have been taking LE's 300mg "Cell Regenerator" for a year and find myself in a financial pinch at the moment. I canceled my monthly order from LE and really missed the daily energy boost after a couple of weeks. So I ordered a couple of NR supplements from Amazon, but wasn't impressed. I went back to Amazon for one more shot and, thinking this was NR, I ACCIDENTALLY ordered this NAD supplement. To be clear, I would not have ordered this had I been paying proper attention. Everything I have read says it's useless to take NAD orally and that the only choices (for pills) are NR vs NMN. Guess what happened? It "feels" exactly the same as the much higher priced LE pill I was taking for a year! This is not a placebo effect. I tried two other NAD supplements from Amazon with absolutely no effect, and I really wanted them to work. I did not have high expectations of this one. It was just throwing another dart at the dart board. What did I learn here? Mostly that I fell for marketing pretending to be science. We are supposed to stay away from NAD pills because the NAD breaks down in our gut. But I never really asked what it breaks down into before. So I decided to give that a quick look and (i feel stupid) it breaks down into some of the things your metabolism uses to make NAD! So instead of paying 2X or 4X as much for a bottle of things my metabolism uses to make NAD, I (me personally at least, and good luck to you on this) can take this Nutricost NAD+ and save the difference. The other relevant details are that I'm a 46yo man, most of my exercise comes from mowing our big ol corner lot in the suburbs, working IT and sit for many hours of my waking day, am overweight, and eat mostly carnivore and have had a no sugar / no grains diet of some sort or another for quite some time. My wife and I drink and eat what we want on date night, and I do struggle with having other people in the house who eat pizza and drink sodas. So it's not a perfect or strict way of life. I have lost 30lbs over the last couple of years and do feel better than I did before, but it is a slow and steady thing that did not influence my impression of this NAD supplement.

A Balanced Approach
I bought this supplement for its claim to help testosterone and enhance energy and mood. As a 54 year old male in general good health, I have been struggling to maintain 'optimal' T levels. It would be difficult for me to sing the praises of only just this supplement, as my strategy is a multi-pronged approach. First of all I would recommend doing the research. It's your life and your health. You get what you give. 2ndly, I do not believe in a 'magic' pill. Rather, overall health is a lifestyle choice. I admit, at 54 I am no longer interested in trying to maintain the physical prowess I enjoyed in my 40's. That is not to say that I have withdrawn from exercise. Quite the opposite. Each day I engage in at least one physical activity. Most mornings that is swimming. At sunset, my wife and I enjoy a post-supper walk. I do still lift some weights. But I no longer focus on heavy weight bearing activity. I listen to my body more now. I sleep when it comes and allow myself to wake naturally ( at my age, often that is still before 6AM). I avoid stressors in my life. The worst stress I experience now is when I have to drive in the city (half the time we are in a rural, mountain community). I eat what I want. I only make a mental note of sugar intake. I don't put negative guilt on any food choices. I accept the nourishment my body receives. And do not dwell on a poor choice. Rather, I tell myself that the next meal will provide more sustenance and less indulgence. Supplements, therefore, fall into this category. However, NAD+, while no doubt providing my system with something I was lacking, is only one of several supplements touting similar such claims. I also take DHEA, a calcium magnesium zinc and vitD tablet. Pygeum for prostate health and sperm count/ ejaculate load Other Test boosters include Saw Palmetto, Korean Panax Ginseng, Maca Root, Yohimbe Bark and Tribulus Terrestis.
