I like the convenience of cooking in it
I like the convenience of cooking in it, and I especially like the easy clean up. I can usually get it clean with just a quick rinse. If anything sticks on the bottom (like BBQ sauce for example), just put some warm water and a drop of dish soap and let it soak for a few minutes, it then rinses right out! Wipe dry with a paper towel or air dry. Easy! The other thing I like about it is the simplicity of using it. One thing you should know is that the measurements are not the same as the description in the product information here. The box it came in was 14" by 14." It really only measures about 11 and a half inches tall and wide (give or take) add a couple of inches in the front for the handle of the pot. I was hesitant to purchase it at first because of the measurements in the description, but I am happy to say that it is compact and does not take up a lot of counter space. It is the perfect size for preparing a meal for one or two people, or a side dish. I like that I can make smaller portions and just throw a few potatoes in there, or roast some veggies without having to use my large oven. Since I'm just cooking for two people, it seems wasteful to make one or two baked potatoes in my regular oven. Plus the air fryer cooks in less time and doesn't heat up the whole kitchen on a hot summer day! I wanted to mention that this is my first air fryer, so I haven't had the experience to compare it to others. I was interested in this particular air fryer because they made it a point that it was BPA-FREE, PTFE & PFOA-FREE, which was very important to me since I have a pet parrot. A lot of other brands just say "non-stick" and don't mention that they have Teflon which is deadly for birds (and not so great for humans either). I am happy to say that my parrot is alive and well and also enjoying some of the food I've made with this air fryer. The only down side is that as I mentioned above, this is my first air fryer and I don't have a lot of experience yet. I am experimenting with different vegan recipes and trying to adjust the temperature and timing to see what works and what doesn't. So far I have been successful with roasted potatoes with red peppers & onions, corn on the cob, pita bread veggie pizza, and jackfruit taquitos, to name a few. I also understand that this product can cook frozen prepared foods, as well as reheat leftovers, though I haven't tried that yet. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the wonderful dishes I can make with this handy product, but even if it were just potatoes and corn on the cob (which I eat a lot) it would totally be worth the purchase. Even though I was a little apprehensive at first (because I get nervous with trying new things) I am very happy I bought this!

Does not last, replacement unit broke as well
This is a great air fryer, when it works. I have had this for about 3 months when it shut down and stopped working. Tried to plug into other outlets, let it cool down and still it didn't work. Reached out to the company and they set me a replacement, which just broke after 2 weeks of use. This is a terrible product. DO NOT BUY!

So Far So Good...
I had been researching an air fryer to replace a smaller one that I had received as a gift. The size of this one fit my search criteria. There are many other (more well known) brands that make these, but this one does not use teflon. Therefore I gave it a shot. Every design feature makes sense, from the look of the housing to the included accessories (except the pizza pan - who makes a tiny little pizza the size of a pancake?), works as expected. One quick note, but not a big deal - the digital setting reverts to 175 degrees every time you pull out the basket. This is a hassle when you are making anything that requires shaking midway through cooking. For example, the attached picture is of 3 large russet potatoes, which required 400 degrees for 36 minutes (shaking twice during cooking). Each time the basket returns to the cooker, I have to re-enter the cooking temperature and time. Once again, not a big deal. My family loves the way they taste and I was concerned because my kid can be picky. I am really glad to be able to make healthier potatoes into fries rather than pay more for a bag of precut fries loaded with chemicals. In addition to French Fries, I have made soy nuggets that we all enjoyed more than how they come out when using the conventional oven. They cook faster and come out crispier. I will try roasting vegetables as well. Overall, it feels sturdy, cleans up easy, is quieter than my microwave, and works for my family of 3.

Perfect, No- Better Than Most, Yes
I spent literally an entire day reading reviews and watching videos of air fryers before deciding on this one. It was worth the time and effort. Finding one that was made of ceramic and free of chemicals (PFOA, PTFE & BPA) is practically like finding the holy grail. One of my biggest worries was that there would be a strong smell of plastic while cooking. That came up in numerous reviews of other air fryers and my sister in-law returned one for this reason. I didn’t see that complaint very much in the reviews on this one. My own experience was the first time I used it there was a minor whiff of plastic in the air, but it was gone by the second or third use. It cooks beautifully and I have tried numerous things. Fish, tempura battered shrimp, frozen french fries and even pizza. Everything has come out flawlessly. It is also very easy to use, cleans like a dream, and not terribly noisy, which was a complaint that I found to be a common theme in several others that I looked at. I have to ding it one star for two reasons. The first is that the pictures for one touch cooking are extremely hard to decipher and look like something a toddler might draw during Pictionary. The second is that while the company is nice enough to include a couple of free gifts, a Teflon chemical laden pizza pan is not useful. I can’t really understand why they would go to the trouble of making sure the air fryer is made of chemical free ceramic, but not the pieces that they include with it. Free gift or not, it should still be of good quality and safe. I threw it away. The other piece that they include is a pair of silicone tongs. The quality on these is much better and I get a lot of use out of them. All in all a good purchase, and an excellent fryer.

Just bought this gem a few days ago and realized I should have purchased it years ago. We are two seniors and find this appliance suits us well. Have tried the wings, ribs, panko breaded pork loin chops and of course sweet potato fries. Great flavor in the rub and marinade, however I had to tone down a bit for our taste. Frozen fries were dried out on a cookie sheet for about an hour and then were air fried and were wonderfully crisp, better than in the convection oven and take anywhere from 8-10 mins at 360F depending on how much you are making. I make it a habit to check periodically to turn or shake or just to check the food. Loin chops were tender and flavorful cooking at a lower temp. at 360 F. Still working on the ribs. Flavor is great but need to be a bit more tender. A great safe and healthy product and for the two us a suitable substitute for a BBQ.

I bought this specifically for the ceramic coating. After a few months, I did notice it was falling off, so I contacted customer service and they sent me a replacement part very quickly. It had been great ever since. A couple of things: I do wish there was a power button where u can leave the unit plugged in and just turn off the LCD control. Also the adjustment button order (Time, Temp) does not match the order of those things on the LCD display, so I find myself pressing the wrong buttons constantly. That’s a minor design issue.. another issue is once the unit is cocking you cannot adjust the time while cooking. If u want to increase or decrease the time or temp, essentially you have to reset everything and select the time and temp again.. I would say I am willing to live with those things, for the benefits of cooking woth something with a ceramic costing as opposed to Teflon, which will flake and leach into your foods.
