Great for researchers!!
Absolutely love this tablet. It's good quality, it's quick and very responsive and has a nice crisp quality to the writing and images. Battery life is phenomenal. I like that the settings are very adaptable and it's amazing that it runs android. I use it for both reading fiction and for reading research papers and it's great because I can access zotero where I store all of the articles I'm reading for work. Also being able to access google docs and outlook is fab.

Awesome awesome awesome for academic work
I've only been using this for three days, but I already love this thing. My use case: (1) marking up pdf articles; (2) writing notes while I do so. This device has the perfect size and functionality to do this in an effortless way. It's easy to adjust the view settings for each pdf document (crop, half page, quarter page) to make sure it's readable. And it's also easy to either switch between pdf and notebook for the occasional note, or have the doc and the notebook side by side for more constant note taking. Of course this device can do much more, but these features alone make it a just fantastic for my workflow. There's a bit of a learning curve at first (I recommend My Deep Guide's videos on YouTube for guidance), but now that I got the hang of it, it's all super smooth. I had high expectations (switching to this device from a Supernote A5X), but they're more than exceeded.

OS and Software are Not Reliable
I was extremely excited and looking forward to this device. But oh my gosh the massive let down. While the writing experience and e-Ink display was nice, the software and operating system are complete junk. It is not user intuitive, glitchy, and (I believe I received a defective item on this note) the device was completely unable to connect to it’s own servers for the Boox Store, and user manual regardless of WiFi or Hot Spot connection. I would not recommend this device. I wasted hours troubleshooting. Save yourself the time and money. Stick to reliable devices like the iPad.

Not quite paper-like enough for me yet, great device otherwise
Nice device but eInk is not paper-like enough for me yet to use without a front light. This was my first attempt to move to eInk from an iPad and I chose this without a front light to get away from lighting and read like paper. But it is still dimmer than newspaper and a bit too reflective of ambient light. I will probably try again as tech improves. I wanted to love it. The hardware is sleek, light and delightful to use. The software while a little complex is super capable and adjustable to how you want to use it. I would keep if the background could be whiter without a front light but returning.

Great for note taking
Beautiful device, note taking is wonderful. Manga looks great in speed mode. I actually like the lack of front light, it makes it feel more like an analog book. One downside is I actually wish it felt a little sturdier. I know people love the thin devices, but I’m fearful of breaking it.

The pen is garbage
Love the tablet but not the pen. After dropping it *once*, the nib housing broke! Was unable to use it and had to get the Noris digital one (cheaper and better. highly recommend it. even if it doesn't have a magnet). They also don't include extra nibs so you're left with the one the pen brings on. I also use a wacom pen for my wacom tablet (it doesn't work on boox). I've dropped that thing nearly a thousand times and not a scratch on it.

A great compromise.
The note taking experience is great for me; not quite Remarkable great but more than enough for writing and filling out pdf templates, and that's mostly what I use it for. The screen is great for ebooks (although a backlight would be nice). As an Android tablet it's a little tricky, some apps just don't work well with Eink and most apps you'll have to fiddle with screen settings. But it's worth it to have a bit of freedom and do things you can't do on a Scribe or Remarkable, like use multiple reader apps, productivity tools, even just reading the news. The device itself is thin and light, i get a few days out of the battery between charges, and it's become the first device I reach for in the morning.

Fantastic Large-Screen eReader with the Freedom of Android
I love the Boox 10.2 eReader. The large screen makes reading incredibly comfortable, and the ability to write directly on the display is a game changer for note-taking and productivity. Unlike Kindle, which is a closed system, this device runs on an open Android platform — that means I can install the apps I actually use, like Instapaper and even ChatGPT. It truly adapts to my workflow rather than restricting it. What really sets it apart, though, is how easy it is on the eyes. I can work for long stretches without the eye strain I normally experience with LED screens. Whether I’m reading articles, marking up documents, or interacting with AI tools, the Boox gives me the freedom, comfort, and functionality I need. Highly recommended for anyone who wants the flexibility of a tablet without sacrificing the comfort of an e-ink display

Excelente produto. O problema, é pagar uma infinidade de imposto e não receber a nota fiscal.
