The best Smart Ring with No subscriptions
I’ve been using the RingConn Gen 2 for about six months now, and I absolutely love it. The features are fantastic, and the app is super intuitive and easy to use on a daily basis. The sleep tracking is especially impressive, and the wide range of body metrics it provides has been incredibly helpful for understanding how my body is doing overall. I also really appreciate how frequently the developers update the app and continue to add and improve features. I wear the ring every single day, including at work, and it still looks brand new with no scratches at all. The battery life lasts exactly as advertised, and charging is incredibly fast, making it effortless to keep it ready to go. Highly recommended!

I love it so far!
Just got my RingConn 2, and so far, I’m really impressed! I went with the gold, and it’s a gorgeous color that matches my other jewelry perfectly. The ring fits snugly and comfortably—I got a size 9 for my index finger. I also really like the portable charging case; it’s sturdy and convenient. I charge it while I shower, and it’s ready by the time I’m done. I’ve only let it get down to about 70%, so I can’t say how long it would take from a completely dead battery. The app is super user-friendly, and I love the sleep tracking feature—it seems accurate, and I look forward to checking my sleep score each morning. I haven’t compared steps or other metrics to my Apple Watch yet, but I plan to and will update my review later regarding accuracy. No scratches yet, but it’s new, so I’ll see how it holds up over time. From what I’ve seen from other users, I’m fully expecting some wear and tear eventually. What I really like: no subscription required, sleek design, and easy daily use. So far, it feels like a solid investment for anyone looking for a smart ring that’s both functional and stylish.

Great ring, yes it's a little pricey, but it works like it is supposed to!
I first tried a cheap smart ring ($60), and while the hardware was somewhat impressive, the app was junk: not specific to the particular ring. This RingConn ring, and app, however, are the real deal! The ring is well made, its inside surface is made so that it tends to stay in place on your finger without rotating around over time. The charge lasts a very long time, and so far after about a month, the ring still works and charges perfectly. The titanium exterior apparently really does resist scratches, because mine still looks new and I wear it 24/7, except for charging. I swim daily, and wear the ring without issues, it really is waterproof. Too bad it does not have a dedicated tracker for swimming (you have to edit that into the app data after the swim session), but I also use it for walking in our neighborhood, and that dedicated function tracks accurately, in tandem with Google Maps, to show the route you walked. Sleep data is fairly accurate, though it finds REM during some of the time I was awake, which is not correct. It also has twice counted time in my recliner watching TV (before going to bed) as if I had gone to bed, but that data can be easily edited the next morning if necessary. Sleep apnea tracking is a nice touch, it says I probably have mild apnea, which is correct (it would be worse if I did not tape my mouth at night!). Vital signs seem to be accurate, it detects periods of exertion when you are working your body hard. The heart rate is correct even when the ring is wet, which was not the case with my previous cheapie. The "stress" measurement must be based on the HRV value, not sure if that is really helpful for me. I purchased a size 13 after trying sizes in the sizing kit--don't skip that step, because this ring has an unusual inner surface and you need to make sure to get a size that works on your fingers. Turns out that 13 is a handy size for me, because I can wear the ring on a choice of 3 different fingers, meaning I can switch hands when I need to. According to the AI in the app, the ring finger doesn't make any difference. Just keep in mind that none of these smart rings, including the Oura, are medical devices--that is, they are not directly measuring most of the information that they display. Instead, these readings are calculated using complex algorithms based on data obtained by the sensors in the ring, so they are really estimates and should be viewed over time, to see trends. Some readings are more accurate than others, like heart rate is more directly measured than REM, for instance. There's certainly room for improvement, but all in all, this is a good product!

great data okay app no detail export
I really like the data this ring gives me. I deducted a star for the app. The app doesn't distinguish or allow you to edit for overnight wake ups and keeps overwriting the wake up time it does let me edit. there is no detailed data export so that's also not the greatest. overall. having this for only a few weeks I'm very happy with it. and glad it works without a subscription. on pure aesthetics. I like the way the silver looks on my finger. The ring is very light. not sure about durability yet but hopeful I get a few years out of it.

Great alternative to smartwatch
Very happy with the ring so far. I was looking to transition away from an Apple Watch. The ring gives even more health data and I can go back to wearing actual watches. I have large hands and appreciated the sizing kit so I could try out different sizes on different fingers before buying. The sleep data was way off at first, thinking I was sleeping way longer than I actually was but I was able to manually edit the start time and it seemed to sense properly after that. Held charge for more than a week and recharged in less than an hour. Love the stress data. I am worried about it scratching based on other reviews and have not found a good solution for protection that is not bulky and is durable.

No Subscription Required and the Battery Charge is Impressive.
Pros I like the fit, color, and look of this smart ring. I did order the sizing kit. I suggest that anyone contemplating the purchase of this ring buy and try the different sizes. I would have ordered the wrong size had I not tried the sizing kit first. It's more comfortable than I had expected. I am not used to wearing rings, and I expected it to be bulky and annoying, but a few hours after putting it on, I forgot it was there. I really like that there’s no subscription. The ring does an adequate job of monitoring sleep, heart rate, O2, and most other measurements. The battery life appears to be as advertised, which is a plus. I've found that most electronic devices advertise longer battery life than my experience shows, so it's refreshing to see that the developers of this device were honest in their advertising. I appreciate this, as I rarely encounter it in practice. Cons However, it has difficulty deciding how to categorize exercise. I am disabled and wheelchair bound. Apparently, there is no way to inform the program of this fact, which has it misunderstand my activity level. I would like to see an option added to the programming to accommodate people with physical disabilities, including those who use mobility devices such as canes, walkers, and wheelchairs. The most annoying thing about the app, however, is that the date is off by 1 day. I want a way to manually set the date, since it doesn't automatically adjust to the correct date. Another thing that slightly bothers me is that the sleep reports aren't as detailed as those from an Apple Watch or a Fitbit. I assume that’s because there's no subscription, but I could be wrong. Overall, there would need to be significant changes to earn more stars in my review. I haven't tried other smart rings, except for an inexpensive one I purchased some time ago that had a very short battery life and wasn't comparable to today’s smart rings. If the developers fixed the few issues I had with this ring, I would recommend it without reservation. But since I haven't tested it against the competition, I can say it's worth looking into at this time. The time between charges is impressive, and it does have the benefit of no subscription fee. These two things alone make it worth looking into.

Absolutely love this ring
Nothing bad to say about this ring, super light weight, durable. The app is very easy to use. Seems to do very well at taking everything. The sizing kit was spot on and well worth the extra buck to verify size fit and comfort. Battery life is excellent. Only thing I would like with this ring is the ability to change the quick pick options for exercise on the main screen if the app, the 7 preset ones are the only ones and can't be changed based on personal preference. Overall ... EXCELLENT and will definitely upgrade to the gen 3 when available.

Great fitness ring!
I ordered this fitness ring on July 10th, 2025, so I've had it for about 5 months now. What is making me finally write a review is that I accidentally just put this ring through the wash and you couldn't even tell. No damage at all from being in all that water and washed around with soap. I honestly really enjoy this ring. Pros: -Great battery life -Charging case also has great battery life -Free app that is user friendly and a bit customizable -Ability to track steps, sleep, exercise, sleep apnea, periods, heart rate, oxygen saturation, body temp, stress, and add notes. -With accuracy in tracking for steps, sleep, vital signs, exercise, and stress. -Useful information in the period section, about which part of the cycle you are in and what to expect. -Multiple types of exercise you can track from HIIT, sports, walking, etc. -Sleep is quite accurate I think, and gives you how long in each stage, heart rate variability, temperature, respiratory rate, naps, time in bed vs time asleep, and a subjective tracker for you to make how you feel. -You can track so many things with your period, I love the detail. See attached photos. -Sleek and easy to wear, not heavy at all. -Waterproof!! I wear this ring while washing my hands, washing dishes, accidentally left it in my pocket and put it through the laundry. No visible damage, and no issues with use. Cons: -Sizing is iffy. I ordered a size 11 for comfort but I think sleep apnea tracking would be better if I had a size 10 because it's closer to the skin although too tight for my comfort. -Touted for sleep apnea monitoring but doesn't seem to be accurate when compared to my home sleep test and cpap machine. Unfortunate, but hopefully they hone this tracking aspect in the future. -I haven't been good with remembering to track my periods in the app on top of my written planner, so I can't tell how accurate that is yet. -Poor gps tracking for walks and runs. I will start and end the walk timer for the duration of my walk which could be anywhere from 1 to 3 mi but will only chart that I did 0.05 miles. Luckily you are able to edit the mileage. Overall I love this ring and it's features, which are worth the midrange price tag.
