I’ve been using Nécessaire The Deodorant (Fragrance-Free) daily and appreciate how simple and gentle the formula is. It applies smoothly, dries quickly, and doesn’t leave a sticky or heavy feeling on the skin. The fragrance-free aspect is especially nice for sensitive skin or for anyone who prefers products without added scent. I found it effective for everyday use and comfortable to wear throughout the day without irritation or residue on clothing. The packaging is minimal and sturdy, and the stick dispenses evenly without crumbling. This is a good option for those looking for a deodorant with a clean ingredient profile that prioritizes skin comfort. Overall, it’s a solid, no-frills deodorant that works well for daily wear, especially for sensitive skin.

THIS IS MY NEW FAVORITE. I’m picky about deodorant. Most “clean” ones either quit by noon or smell like a yoga studio meltdown. Nécessaire The Deodorant Olibanum actually does the job and doesn’t make a scene. The scent is subtle, warm, and grown. Olibanum reads earthy and resinous, not perfumey, not medicinal, not trying too hard. It smells expensive in a quiet way. Like good skin, not fragrance. Formula-wise, it goes on smooth, no grit, no sticky weirdness, no white marks. It holds up through real life, stress, errands, heat, movement. I don’t find myself checking or reapplying like I do with most aluminum-free options. Bonus points for zero irritation. No burning, no itching, no post-shave regret. I also love the color of the packaging. Clean, effective, understated. Worth it.

This is probably the best deodorant I’ve ever used. As a guy who does an excessive amount of cardio - and someone who is overly conscious about how he smells - it is hard to find an aluminum-free deodorant that is versatile for daytime use and during workouts. I’ve tried many natural deodorants and other aluminum-free deodorants and they either don’t hold or irritate my skin. This does the job + more. Love the santal scent - it really makes for a more luxurious experience.

Truly the most effective natural deodorant. The fragrance is phenomenal, frankincense softened by vanilla and a green fig, i wouldn’t call the vanilla prominent (i don’t want to smell like a 21 year old’s birthday cake and generally hate vanilla, so this is good news). It lasts all day even on super hot days and it easy to wash off and start fresh. The acid content is high enough here that i did have to start with every other day application, alternating with a weaker deo. It still irritates from time to time, at which point i take a day or two off, then resume. It can leave white marks if i don’t let it set all the way down and im wearing a tank top, but the marks are much more faint than with others. Having written this all out I’m realizing that the caveats are many, but worth it to me. And the packaging is so pretty.

I'm tired of all the products pushed on us that are actually toxic to our bodies--like aluminum anti-perspirant. This is pricey but worth it. The feel is smooth, like a nice lotion, the fragrance is mild and clean, and the protection is excellent. Treat yourself!

for all science people, you know that if you know how to wash your body properly, you can make any deodorant work, but most deodorants do not have the anti-odorant ingredients necessary to kill and prevent bacteria. This has Triethyl Citrate and Zinc Ricinoleate which are odor neutralizers as well as Mandelic Acid which helps in its own way too. I was expecting the thickness of the solid deodorant to be a thicker slightly stickier/harder wax, but it’s a very light and thin wax that is not oily or greasy at all. I actually also use this as a vulva deodorant because O Positiv has the same anti-odorant ingredients in their intimate deodorant as Necessaire’s deodorant, but they’re not as high on the list so the formula is not as potent and concentrated. Simply put it worked but I prefer Necessaire’s Deodorant. Necessaire’s The Deodorant is more concentrated with active ingredients higher on the list and there are less filler ingredients. This removes 100% of malodor while the Necessaire gel deodorant in my experience removed 96%. Having a waxy base that cannot be rinsed off or sweated off helps keep the skin and it’s environment inhabitable to bacteria that causes odor. I love this brand so much! I always hesitate to buy their stuff because I feel like I couldn’t get cheaper alternatives, but nothing compares! I got the solid deodorant in fragrance free and Olibanum. Idk why i find the Olibanum deodorant to be more irresistible than the lotion when thwyre the same scent. The packaging is sturdy and doesn’t feel cheap. It’s actually extremely moisturizing! It will be a sad day when they discontinue or reformulate this product.

This deodorant is the only clean deodorant (on yuka app) for good ingredients. That doesn’t give me a rash and actually works for preventing odor. I love this stuff. Works even with my heated workouts. Natural girlies need to try.

I love this brand and have used the body lotion which is wonderful. I ordered the deodorant stick and the scent is very similar to the Eucalyptus lotion, but has a bit more pine (almost pine sol) but not enough to not use and like it! The container is very sturdy - almost wish it was a little lighter for gym bag or travel. Works well - no stink, no white residue, no irritation.
