Nicely made caliper; easy to use and seems accurate. Battery compartment is somewhat frustrating due to the size of the phillips head screws. There is a tool provided but a jewelers screwdriver makes the job a bit easier. Spare batteries is a nice touch. The instrument comes in a hard plastic case. Overall, I'd recommend this instrument as a good value for the price.

Great item at a fair price

I was very impressed when I opened the package. The first thing I noticed was how heavy it is. There's a glossy, printed cardboard sleeve containing a sturdy black plastic case. The photos in the seller's ad accurately portray the contents of the case. The caliper itself feels substantial and well made. The only obvious plastic is the LCD display itself, the rest is metal. The fine adjustment roller feels very loose but functions perfectly. I've been using the caliper to measure the dimensions of various computer connectors and sockets for a project I'm working on and repeated measurements have produced consistent results. As regards accuracy, I have no idea how this would compare to a top-end scientific instrument, but it's going to be more than adequate for any measurements that I'm ever likely to need. For the price, I'm very happy with this.

These are great for home hobby usage. Cheap and accurate. A little gritty in the sliding action. I wouldn't build a space shuttle with them but for tinkering around the house, they're fine. I did take them apart recently for some cleaning and man, the machining is rough. Lots of burrs and sharp edges but again, they're a bit more than $20. If you're looking for a cheap pair of digital calipers, I'd say these are fine.

I’m a reloader. Working at the 0.001 inch is critical. This is my third caliper and it does everything I need. I actually like the battery choice. The LR44 batteries can be gotten affordable in bulk vs the bigger lithium ones that run$4 each. I find the set screw to be critical. I set the size I need, set the screw and turn it off. If I’m looki g for 3-415”, and my dies are set up, once I get it, every piece should be 3.415”. Setting the gap and verifying the size is right does not need the battery. My previous two calipers were ruined in a flood. This one fits my use and I may order a spare as backup. I had two before....

This is a great quality caliper and best priced. It has the ability to display measurements in inches and millimeters, It is very accurate, and has an easy to read display, yet it has a bottom to switch the settings.I like the feel function. I like that it has a sturdy case with the insert to keep the caliper from getting damaged. It shipped in a plastic bag with a desiccant pack and a extra pack of battery in the bag. When it's not in use, I keep it in the plastic bag with the desiccant pack to keep dirt, dust, and moisture out.One of the uses I have is to measure my tubing diameter inside and outside. The accuracy is very good. It is stable with all stainless steel.

Nachdem ich mir ein Messgerät einer günstigeren Variante gekauft habe, welche aus Kunststoff bestand, habe ich mich entschlossen, etwas mehr zu investieren und ein aus Edelstahl zu kaufen. Ich möchte erst mal damit beginnen, das Messgerät im Lieferumfang zu beschreiben. Geliefert wurde eine sehr stabile Kunststoffbox mit einem Edelstahlmessstab. Anbei eine gut, erklärte Betriebsanleitung, einen Schraubendreher (Batteriewechsel) und Ersatzbatterien. Alles ist wunderbar geschützt in der Kunststoffbox. Nach dem auspacken war ich sofort startbereit und konnte eingesetzt werden anbei die Fotos für einen Eindruck, wie das Teil funktioniert. Es ist möglich, eine null Justierung einzustellen. Ich hab es mir gekauft, für die stärke einer Feederspitze ( Angelrute) zum messen. Ich hatte sofort an exakt das Messergebnis. Meines Erachtens ist es extrem hochwertig verarbeitet und kann mit jedem preislich höher angesetzten Messstab mithalten. Ich würde mir das jederzeit wieder bestellen und weiter empfehlen. Alles in allem sehr schnelle Lieferung und eine unglaublich gute Qualität.

I liked the look of vernier + the build quality + size.But 9mths later I had to replace the battery which are held in by a small cover with 2 small screws. After removing the screws + replacing the battery 1 screw went ok but the other screwed in but would not tighten enough to engage the battery hence no power to operate it,this may be a one off but it’s left it unusable.This is a flaw in the manufacturing.

Très beau pied à coulisse, précision au rdv, testé sur roulement, aucune erreur. De temps en temps une remise à zéro est nécessaire mais rien de grave. Je souligne la qualité des matériaux qui est vraiment très bonne, et le toucher de ce métal polis est très agréable. Même les boutons sont en métal et très pratiques, un appui furtif = action, pas besoin de laisser appuyé. L'affichage quant à lui est parfait, ni trop grand ni trop petit, très lisible. J'ai un seul point négatif sur ce produit, la règle de profondeur bouge beaucoup mais fonctionne parfaitement, ça fait juste glinggling...
