Great Product - I delayed writing my review because I wanted to see how the manageability of my beard changed if it did at all as I was transitioning from another brand. First the presentation and branding are excellent you could buy it as is as an easy gift idea. There are multiple components that make it a great value. The beard wash is light and fragrant but not too perfumed so it leaves your beard feeling great with a nice citrus clean smell. The beard balm is also really light and cleaner than most balms I’ve tried because it’s less oily. The oil is also great smell and texture/consistency. It’s light and effective. I usually do a rotation with applying the ball more frequently (daily) and then the oil intermediately (semi/weekly) to keep a nice manageable texture. The scissors are barber quality, unfortunately i lost them going through Taiwan customs so think that through when traveling. The comb and brush are also a nice touch bc they aren’t too rough and the comb isn’t too fine toothed which is the case with a lot of others so you end up beating up your beard. All in all a great product I’d recommend for a competitive price for the offering.

I was looking for a kit to have at home that also was always ready to go when we go out overnight or on a vacation. This is that kit. However, in my search for a ready to go kit, I also had an issue I was looking for a solution to: ITCHY BEARD. If you have a beard, you know the itch I'm talking about. Right on the jaw line under the chin. It was getting to the point where it itches almost every day, probably because of dry skin and my lack of proper quality beard care supplies. I washed my beard with the soap (that smells great, very manly but subtle), then applied the unscented oil and combed it with the wooden comb which did NOT tangle or catch in my pretty curly beard (I tried it dry, pre-oil as well and same result no tangle or pulling). THE ITCH IS GONE, this stuff works wonders on the beard and more importantly the face underneath the beard. Healthy face skin, healthy beard, healthy beard is a happy beard. The boars hair brush is firm enough to brush the beard but soft enough to feel quite nice on the skin, however mine has a spot of bristles missing and the first initial use has some loose ones fall out. No biggie though, used it a few more times throughout the day and no more fell out. The balm smells amazing as well. A fresh cleaned sent, with a hint of citrus and just a dash of manly. The shears are high quality. Trimming hair was easy as trimming hair. I can see them lasting some time before needing a sharpen, worked great on my 'stache as well. Perfectly straight cut, first time, only one cut needed. So far, I can say for being cheaper than some of the other "high dollar super quality" stuff out there where you're basically just paying extra for a cool label and bragging rights, this brand takes the cake. When I am getting low on the supplies that come with this kit, I will definitely be re-ordering. I HIGHLY recommend this kit.

I've stopped shaving this year for the first time ever. Compared a few kits and decided on this one for the price and what's included. I love it. I rated it 3 on scent because they have no scent, but I'm not mad about it. I'd rather learn how to use the oil and balm scent free before choosing scents or being stuck with a scent that I don't like. The packaging is really well done, and includes contact info for their customer service, and I always appreciated that. The wooden comb and scissors both feel sturdy and almost heavy. Quality stuff. I trimmed my mustache for the first time and the scissors worked great and stopped hair from going into my mouth. The scissors did appear dirty on the inside of the blades, maybe from manufacturing. I used rubbing alcohol on a paper towel to wipe it down and it cleaned up fast. Not sure on the difference between beard oil and balm, but they both leave my facial hair feeling soft. Will try the beard wash tonight, but overall I really recommend this kit, especially if you are a beginner. I registered my email for the e-book and haven't received it yet, but it's not a big deal.

I don't go out of my way to write reviews often but the value of this product is pretty outstanding, and I think about it every time I use it. The kit comes with quite a few items and they're all fairly high quality, so you're getting a lot of bang for the buck. If you're like me and you're looking to tame your corona-beard, this kit is a pretty solid choice. The beard oil is not scented and is very "lightweight" compared to some other "oilier" beard oils I've used, so personally I find it suitable for daily use. The "balm" is pretty decent as well although doesn't get a lot of mileage right now as I save it for "special occasions" (I mean, it's not like I'm stepping out of the house much these days). Both the comb and brush are made of quality materials and don't really feel cheap. I use both of them daily. The scissors are also pretty great although I wouldn't try to travel with them as they're a little on the large side (not sure if they're TSA-safe or what). The dopp kit (bag) is much larger than it needs to be, which means I can combine all of my other shaving stuff in one easy bag (and it has a zipper side pouch, which is a nice touch). I'd never heard of this brand before, but I took a chance after reading some reviews here, and I'm happy I did.
