Flawlessly working
This adapter is made very nicely.USB 3.1 g2 is fitting internal connector almost perfectly.Advantages:Works with full speed of MB port.Looks like it is a native part of it.Disadvantages: none.If you have chosen a board without native USB-C port but it has double USB 3 Internal ports, this product is perfect for a case with USB-C.It was used with Fractal Define R6 USB-C and ASROCK Taichi XE to connect USB-C HDD and Samsung S8.

Does what it says on the tin. Cable could be a bit longer
I'm using this with an ASUS ProArt X670E-Creator WIFI motherboard to power a Quest 3 (using a Quest Link cable) as my case is too old and does not provide a USB-C port.As far as I can tell it's working perfectly - at USB 3 speeds and with PD charging. My motherboard can provide USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 with 60 W PD - I don't have a device to stress test the port to such a degree, but I have no reason to believe it wouldn't work.My only small nitpick is the cable would benefit from being longer. There is only one slot at the back of my case that is close enough to the motheboard's connector and is not already occupied by my (very bulky) gaming GPU.

Review
Easy to setup just plugs straight into the computer no issues. The wire is quite short though so if you have a big case I would recommend trying to get a longer one. I don’t know if there are sizes but I had to put the wire under my GPU which keeps it out the way and hidden anyway. I haven’t had any issues with it and it feels like good quality.

Great way to add usb C to motherboard
Fitted this a month ago to enable me to use the USB C connector on my new PC case. My Asus x570p motheboard didnt have a C port so this little converter enabled me to use one of the spare USB 3 ports on the MB for a USB C.Really easy to install though is not that clear which way it plugs in. But trial an error won the day.Been using it for the past month with no issues and means i get the benefit from being able to use all connections on my PC case (Lian Li Lancool 3)

Ripped USB Header off motherboard - BEWARE
The main issue is that the plastic connector that is inserted in the motherboard got stuck. I do not even understant how that is supposed to happen, given that there is not locking mechanism. The first time I inserted in a USB header it "clicked" and was impossible to remove. Pulling did not help.In fact, by pulling the only result was to pull away the socket from the motherboard. If you decide to buy this, be aware of this potential issue.

Read the manufacturer’s description carefully before buying
The item does appear to be stuck in the slot. But at the moment that isn’t a problem. It does the job I wanted. It allowed me to connect the cases front usb C cable to my motherboard (which didn’t have a dedicated slot). All I can say is too read the description and understand the limitations. It’s a work around to a problem rather than an ideal solution
