As a child of the 1970's and 1980's, a radio is something I remember being the soundtrack of my childhood every morning and afternoon. This Lego set of a radio is spot on what a radio was - A lovely piece of electronics with lively colors and elegant design. The building experience was also very fun, with like real life functions of turning on and off and switching radio stations - there's an audio brick inside which contain a recordings of 'radio stations' and when you 'change' the channel, the brick is pressed and the radio 'play' music or a radio show. Very cool! There's also another cool feature - you can open the back of the radio and place your smartphone inside while it is playing music and it will feel like the radio is playing. Fantastic. The size of the set is about the same as a real radio set from the 1970's era. So if you feel nostalgic or just like cool Lego sets - get one!

I got into LEGOs to have something to do in lieu of being on any kind of technology or watching tv. This is a great hobby for me even at 36. I'm into the retro sets right now. This set is pricey but I loved it. I also got the light kit for it and it looks great displayed in my family room.

How cool to juxtapose Legos with technology with the ‘70s! How fun. It made for intergenerational gab as we worked the game.

È come tutti gli altri set Lego, perfetto in ogni dettaglio, divertente da montare e magnifico una volta esposto. Lego è una garanzia, una delle pochissime marche per cui le recensioni servono a poco, si possono comprare ad occhi chiusi perché si sa che si ha in mano un prodotto di qualità e di forte impatto visivo.
