Like new, works amazing, exact replacement for the one I had for years, until the roller went bad. Finally all the toner I bought will not going to waste! Great quality Laserjet. Highly recommend.

I was a little worried since it was used, but it works great! Best thing about this printer? There is a envelope tray, so you can load normal paper in tray two, and envelopes in the pull down tray. Honestly that was the biggest seller. I recently also bought a Brother printer, it had an envelope tray . But in order to use that tray you had to physically pull the printer out to change the setting. Searching I found every Brother one I looked at was like that. So I went to this HP instead. I can print to both trays and not have a change anything, It did not have Wifi, but I used a powerline Ethernet adaptor so I could connect to my network. Works awesome, glad I bought it. Works with W10 and W11. To install install either universal driver or W10. (Both work with W11)

Constantly jams. We have used this printer type many times before. It is somehow noisier than all similar models- sounds like the gears are louder. It jams so regularly that i bought a different companies refurbished model. (Model recieved still had a posted number on the outside reflecting prior office use. i can only guess at prior use was alot (noisier and jams regularly. I was hoping Reconditioned meant more than this.) Very disappointed

I seen this available as refurbished and ordered it for a second printer. We have the same machine that is at least 20 years old. It was so dependable, that I ordered this one. The price is great and the toner is a reasonable price. Very happy.

Bought this for everyday printing of outlook reminders. Printer works just fine with black and single sided paper. My only complaint is every 1 out of 50 pages, there will inevitably be a jam in the printing tray. I personally don’t care to do a root cause analysis and try to fix this myself but just something to note as you may need to often sort out the jam if you print a lot everyday. I’ve had multiple of this same model and have never had this repeat issues, so might just be an issue with this unit, but nevertheless still annoying. This issue developed months after buying this

Printer delivered on-time and in perfect shape. I've used this model before in my tax preparation business for 8 years, printing well over 10,000 pages ( probably closer to 100,000). Unbelievably reliable.

7 years ago, I purchased two of these HP laser jet pro 400 401n printers - they were workhorses - ran thousands of pages through them. As an Enrolled Agent, with a client base of about 165 clients - after electronic filing of returns, I print off copies of those returns for my clients. Both printers died this past year, so I purchased a "renewed" or refurnished laser jet pro 400 401n printer. Contacted seller and they took back this printer at full cost and replaced it with a much better printer, for little additional cost. Very pleased with the outcome of this transaction. Will work with this seller again!

We have requested a refund 3 times and have received no response. Print quality is very poor on this one received. We own 3 other printers EXACTLY this make and model. Knowing that the cartridges in those printers work perfectly (they are being used by 60+ employees with no issues), we replaced each one of those cartridges in this printer and all prints were very very poor quality. We put those same cartridges back into our 3 other printers, which are the EXACT SAME MODEL and they worked perfectly. I had our IT department trouble shoot it (they are very capable of this since we are a high-tech company so we should be able to trouble shoot a simple printer) and they could not get this printer to properly print. It is defective and all we wanted to do is return it and repurchase a new one but seller does not respond to our refund requests. IN AN ADDENDUM to the above, with Amazon Customer Services' help, the seller had exchanged the printer with another one, and this one works well. I have upgraded my previous rating, as they have rectified the issue. Thank you.

They want to charge me to repair the printer 150$ per hour. A printer that already had problems and refurbished. Still have problem with it. And we paid around $ 400.00 . Wow this is not what I called a deal.
