Direct replacement.
Was direct replacement for old unit. Just make sure to check bottom of box for eye sensor as you need to install it on unit before installing on boiler.

This replaced the primary control on my Riello burner which was tripping out often and needed to be reset.Replacing with this primary control, I haven't had any issues so far. Half the cost of a plumbing store.
