After using the JioTag Air for the past month, I can say that it's the best and most affordable Bluetooth tracker option out there. Here's what I like and what I don't: What I like: - Apple Find My: Huge Apple ecosystem in India, makes tracking seamless and easy. - Good Build Quality: As a carefree user, I have been using this roughly. It's tagged with my bike key and works fine even after enduring heavy rain during my daily commute. While I'm not sure if it's fully waterproof, it is definitely water-resistant. - Good Sound: The device has a clear sound, making it easy to locate at home. What I don't like: - Not a GPS Tracker: Real-time location depends on the Apple Find My community - Anti-Stalking Feature: The JioTag Air includes Apple's anti-stalking feature, which could allow someone to discover and disable the tag if they find it. Writing this review after 1 year getting irritated thought of sharing my review " I bought the JioTag, and honestly, it’s been a huge disappointment. • Zero Location Accuracy: The so-called “tracking” feature is a joke. It just shows a 1 km area circle, which means your device could be anywhere within that range. That completely defeats the purpose of having a tracker. • No Live Tracking: There’s absolutely no real-time tracking like advertised. It just refreshes after a long delay and gives an approximate zone — not an exact location. • Battery Drain Issue: The battery drains every 2–3 months, even when you’re barely using it. Then you have to spend extra money replacing it frequently — a pure waste of time and money. • Pointless Notifications: The notifications are misleading and don’t really alert you when your item is actually lost or far away. It doesn’t work the way it’s supposed to, unlike Apple’s AirTag, which is far more reliable and accurate. • iPhone Connectivity: It connects easily with the iPhone, but that’s where the good part ends — because it doesn’t show the correct device or location afterward. So, you end up with a connected device that’s practically useless."

However, it’s worth noting that the tracker is not waterproof. **Key Settings**: To ensure optimal functionality, you should enable the setting in Google Find My Device to locate offline devices "with network in all areas." This setting enhances tracking accuracy as it allows your device to contribute to the network. Importantly, the contributing device doesn’t need to have its Bluetooth or Wi-Fi to be on all the time. **Website Access**: The Jio Tracker Go cannot be viewed from the Find My Device website because its private encrypted key is stored on the activation device and any device with which the tracker is shared. This intentional design choice is explained further on the Google Find My Device blog. **Battery Life**: The battery life is reliable and should last up to one year. It uses a CR2032 battery, which is readily available online. However, the durability of the battery cover after multiple openings is questionable. **Use Case**: I purchased this tag to help me locate my car in large multi-level parking lots, such as those in Gurgaon's Ambience Mall. **Tracking Performance**: The accuracy of the tracker depends on the number of nearby devices with the appropriate settings enabled. In my experience, the tracking has been very accurate, showing the recent or last updated location within 5 meters, and sometimes even 1 meter. However, it doesn’t provide location history. **Security**: For security, Google and Apple have implemented a system to support unwanted tracking alerts in iOS and Android since May 2024. This feature ensures that you are notified if an unknown tracker is detected near you, preventing potential stalking incidents. Overall, the Jio Tracker Go is a reliable device for locating items, with easy setup, good battery life, and robust security measures. However, its lack of waterproofing and the inability to view it on the Find My Device website are notable limitations.

MINUS 10 Stars....ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY. TERRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE — GETTING HELP HAS BEEN INFURIATING!!! The JIO Air Tag won’t connect to the Apple Find My app at all. It only connects to the JIO Things app, and even then, it only works within an extremely limited Bluetooth range. Moving just from one room to another causes it to disconnect. AND THERE’S NO OPTION TO RETURN IT. I’m beyond frustrated trying to get any support! First, I called the JIO 1800 helpline and was left waiting for 25 minutes, only to be told to visit a local JIO store. When I went there, the staff had no clue about this product and told me to go to a Reliance store instead. At the Reliance store, nobody helped me and just sent me back to the JIO store. No one has offered any real assistance. Now this useless Air Tag is just sitting in my drawer — completely unusable and non-returnable. What a total waste of money and time!

The product is good and compact. It is useful to track / find your lost keys if you attach it to your key chain. But only drawback is that in case you want to locate any such item attached to jio air tag, the nearby android phones must also have Jio Things app installed. Same problem with using jio air tag on Apple phones. In order for the air tag to give precise location, it must be near an iPhone or iPad so exact location will be pinged and you will be able to see the latest location

Download the Find my Device app, press the button for 2 3 sec and get started with google fast pairing! 2. Small and lightweight: The tag itself is small and lightweight, so you can easily attach it to your keys, bags or even your pets without adding any bulk. 3. Battery life: The battery life of the Jio Tag is good and can last for a few days on a single charge depending on the usage. The tab has a power saving power so you don’t have to worry about it draining quickly. 4. Affordable and reliable: Considering its price, Jio Tag offers great value for money. Cons 1. Not waterproof: This is not a waterproof so consider using it in a dry place Final Thoughts: Overall, the Jio Tag is a product for people who frequently lose their stuff and need a solution. It’s compact, easy to use, and effective. However, if you live in an area where the network is inconsistent or you’re looking for the highest tracking with more, this might not be the best option. Still, it’s a good choice for everyday use at its price!

The product is small, quality is good, really works with apple iPhone's find me, location accuracy and tracking is really good, when you forget item it reminds you on iphone that you have left it behind. very easy to use, connectivity is also good but when you make it connect with find my, native app connectivity is not as good as iPhone's find my connectivity. really good alternative of iTag. Tough I still think that cost is little on higher side.
