You should know that this works. Was dubious cos of the low-scoring reviews but it is fantastic! Yes, it's expensive but you only use a very small amount and it's great to look in the mirror and not see your scar. I showered and excercised with it and it didn't move. So it's long lasting too. The light shade worked pretty well on my skin, might try a different shade next time but it looked very close to my actual skin - someone else would battle to see it. If you are thinking about trying this, don't delay. And come back and thank me :)

I want to underline that I read the label and the instructions and tried several time to get it right. The biggest problem with this, is that it dries way too quickly before you have a chance to spread it correctly in the affected area. Maybe it all depends what kind of scar/defect you have but it didn’t work for me. It’s so expensive for what it is. Also the finish effect is glossy, you put powder on it, makes it look even worse. The idea is good but unfortunately the product doesn’t work for me.

This is by far the best product I have found for filling indented scars. It takes a little practice to get right (you need to use far less than you think) and it stays in place all day (avoid rubbing it or it will peel away). Doesn’t entirely conceal redness underneath, but hopefully adding dermaflage concealer underneath will do the trick.

I would not recommend. Colour wasn't as advertised. Product very expensive and empty in parts. There are two substances that work together but do not come out at the same time, leading to wastage and a poor application. I have requested for a refund.

Waste of money

TIP : 1. Make sure skin is free from any product, oils, moisturiser, sunscreen and makeup otherwise Dermaflage doesn't stick on skin. I use IPA with a cotton pad to clean the scar area before applying Dermaflage. 2. I don't use the mixing nozzle that came with the pack. You can only use the mixing nozzle once which I find a bit useless so I just use the top of my clean hand and mix the silicone together with my steel spatula before spreading it over my scar. 3. The product dries very quick so best work in a space that is non breezy so you can spend as much time perfecting your coverage. 4. Use a good slightly curved steel spatula to spread the silicone on your scar and then smear the outer edges of the silicone to make it as thin as possible so it blends with the rest of your skin seamlessly. This may take a few practise. If you don't smear the edges thinly, it will dry with a harsh line around the scar with the rest of your skin. Don't rely on the plastic spatula that came with it, they are absolutely rubbish. 5. Make sure to press firmly on the silicone area with the purple texture pad. It helps smoothen out any bumps and also dries matte. It dries shiny without using the texture pad. And no, powder doesn't help mattify it.

I have been using Dermaflage for almost 7 years now and I love it. It does take a few attempts to get it right but once that's done it's so easy to apply. I only need to use a little to fill a small indentation so the product lasts a couple of months if applied daily.
