Nice piece of leather but it came creased so severely down one edge I could not get the crease out no matter what I tried so I ended up cutting a strip about a 1/4 inch wide off that side to get rid of it, I wasn't looking for or wanting a distressed look. While the piece I received didn't have any cuts or holes, it did have a very coarse and wonky grain smack in the middle of the piece that is really noticeable and odd looking aesthetically, making it unusable in anything other than cutting out small pattern pieces around it for a small pouch. It's still usable, but not for the project I had originally intended it for. I would have to say order with caution and be prepared to repurpose it for another project just in case.

I used this leather for a Bible rebind. It was very easy to work with. Skiving the edges paper thin was a breeze. Color is even throughout. I would recommend this leather. If I order again and the quality is not the same I’ll update my review accordingly.

Mmm. Love that leather smell. This is a nice piece of super soft leather. It measures 12 inches by 24 inches, mine is actually about an 1/8 inch wider. It has some visible grain and a soft suede back. It appears to be about 1/16 inch thick so it is about 4 ounce leather.
