It's everything I've ever wanted or needed in a bag! First it's gorgeous, the floral pattern is so pretty. The canvas is heavy duty enough to resist wear but not be too thick or bulky, and the stitching is well done throughout the bag. Then there's the straps! They're so versatile. Being able to be unzipped to be a backpack or zipped to be a sling bag, and then being able to choose which side they go on is awesome.The bag isn't too big or too small. The multiple pockets mean I won't lose my stuff all clumped together on the bottom, and then all pockets having zippers mean everything is secure. When it's on my back, I can slide my bag forwards (and essentially upside down) to get at my wallet without taking it off.Added bonus: The water bottle holder is also deep enough that it holds my bottle securely.The only potential issue I could see happening going forward is the strap zipper not staying securely closed, and starting to pull open. Again, it hasn't happened in a few days of wear but I foresee it needing a snap or pin to keep it closed at some point in the future.I expect this bag to last me even longer than my last backpack/purse, which I had for 6 years. I may just buy a 2nd so I'm not crying in a decade when this thing finally wears out.

This is a really well made bag for the price. But there are a couple of items to note with this bag.As other reviewers have said, the straps are extremely long. I am 5'4" and set on the shortest length, they were too long. But I came along the picture I am attaching on how to make them even shorter and this works like a charm. Once I shortened the straps, I'm really loving the feel of the bag.The bags are different sizes depending on color. I ordered the #6 black and the floral bag. The black bag is bigger and wider than the floral bag. The black bag went back since I was looking for a smaller sling.Also, in the pictures it looks like the pocket that will be against your body is going to be a small size (there is a pocket outline sewn into the bag); however, the pocket is the full shape of the bag which was a nice surprise.The floral bag is a great color combination that is pretty without being too bright and will allow you to wear the bag with almost any color clothing. It's a nice size & fit for a smaller person and offers plenty of room. Heavier than a nylon bag, but really heavy. The zippers are smooth and the interior and seams are all well sewn. I haven't used it yet, but I think it's going to be a great travel bag.

I was looking for a rope bag-like crossbody without the price of the name. I ordered one and it turned out to be about half the size I wanted, so it went to my 13 year old. I didn't really have high hopes for this one but thought I might get a little use out of it, and for the price, no harm in trying.I am in love with this bag! It's more functional than the aforementioned rope bags, with multiple pockets that make sense. The material is thick and substantial and the zippers are strong. There are smaller pockets inside for things like keys or lip balm. I'll be watching for new prints as I can see carrying these bags for a long time to come!

Update: I'm back from my trip so I'll provide some updates, having actually used the bag.The zippers are heavy duty and not easy to open/close with one hand. Which can be kind of inconvenient; the zipper on the tiny pocket on the front actually hurt my hand trying to dig down into the pocket to find what I needed. And my hands are pretty small. However, the zippers make a fairly noticeable noise when zipped or unzipped, which came in handy when a pickpocket tried to get into my bag while I was wearing it on my back. (I didn't have anything valuable in the bag). If I had rememembered to reattach the locking caribiner I'd purchased to secure the zippers, he would never have gotten into it at all.I purchased two, dual locking S-Biner clips to secure the leather zipper pulls to the carry handle at the top of the bag. One clip secured the zipper on the rear pocket; the other secured the two main zippers on the front. I didn't worry about the tiny front pocket; all I had in there was lip balm and hand sanitizer. Yes, the clips made it more difficult to get into the bag, but they deterred thieves.The interior fabric is too dark. It needs to be a light color. Hard to find things even in daylight. I resorted to using my phone's flashlight. Sometimes I would have to unload the entire compartment to find what I needed.Interior compartments are an awkward size/shape due to the shape of the bag. It was difficult to organize items and find them when I needed them.The exterior fabric is heavy and sturdy, but has zero "give". Even without overstuffing the bag, it was hard to get into the compartments to find what I needed. It was aggravating especially if I was in a hurry. But again, it would also make it harder for a thief to get into it quickly.My portable keyboard and my Kindle Paperwhite both fit snugly into the interior slip pocket in the main compartment.I elected to wear the bag crossbody for this trip. The strap is wide and comfortable either way.The exterior bottle holder worked well.Overall, I would use this bag again to carry a few small items for a day hike or trip to the zoo, but I won't use it again for major travel where I'd need to carry multiple items with me at all times.------Original review:I've ordered and sent back several sling backpacks, trying to find something for an upcoming trip to Greece. This one ticks pretty much all the boxes. It arrived with NO mold and NO funky smell as described in other recent reviews. In fact the seller messaged me to let them know if I found any mold, so they are trying hard to monitor the problem.The ONLY thing I could complain about, is that in the demonstration video included in this listing, they show a zip pocket inside the main pocket (about 32 seconds into the video). There isn't one with the bag I received; but it's not a big enough deal to me to return it. There is a slip pocket plenty big enough for an ereader or tablet. (water bottle for size reference)The anti-theft pocket on the back of tha bag is big - pretty much the size of the bag (see photos with tape measure), so I don't think I'll miss that missing internal zip pocket. I wish the zipper opening was a little bit bigger.The watter bottle in my photos is a standard 16.9 oz grocery store bottle. As you can see the designated pocket is plenty deep and I thinki it could fit a slightly larger circumference bottle. The umbrella in my photos is 6" long; if you use that pocket for a mini umbrella, don't push it too deep or you may have trouble getting it out!My small Anker power bank (about 4 inches long, shown in photo) fits in a small inside slip pocket. My bigger one fits as well. I plugged in the wiring and it does charge my phone.The small zip pocket on the very front is a bit awkward to get into; I'll probably store my phone's power cord in there, and other small items I don't need frequently.I've read a lot of varying reviews about the straps (too long,, too short). I'm 5'3" with small, narrow shoulders and 38 chest measurment, and the straps are a good length for me. They're easy to adjust quickly. A much taller/more robust person may find the straps too short but you don't know until you try.My only concern with the straps is the clip on the ends; they would be very easy for a thief to quickly undo. Therefore I plan to add locking carabiners.The trekking poles shown in my photos fold down to 13" each. As you can see ithey fit inside the main pocket with room to spare.Thanks to the bottom of the bag's subtantial "footprint" it will stand up on its own. The fabric is substantial and the bag seems well made; I'll update this review after my trip. The bag is NOT water resistant, so if you're carrying anything that shouldn't get wet, place it in a zip lock bag. I may try spraying the bag with Scotch Guard.The color is a light red, like red bricks that have faded in the sun. The bag is lightweight but I wouldn't call it feather light like a nylon bag. I think once you have it loaded and on you won't really notice.Hope you found this review helpful.

I use the backpack option (the sling option just doesn't feel comfy for me). It's a perfect purse for everyday use & for when I walk my dog. There's room for poop bags, bottled water, collapsible bowl & treats. I've gotten several compliments. Would definitely order again.
