I was looking for a good heater for my 5.9 gallon long tank. I eventually went through some cheaper ones before figuring out they were just not going to work. I am highly impressed with this heater, it has all of the features needed to make the perfect heater. Theirs a little thermometer bank attached that allows you to tune the temperature up or down. It also detects what temperature it is in the tank and the two are always matching. My tank is always a solid 80 and is perfect for my betta fish! I will say the suctions on the back do not hold very well however the quality of the heater itself is high quality! All you have to do is put it in your tank, plug it in, an adjust the temperature to how you want it.

I purchased this water heater for my turtle tank! My tank is 55 gallons and it works super well to keep the water temp up.

This is a pretty good aquarium heater. Im using this heater for a 36 gallon bow front aquarium that I keep at 78 degrees and the heater does a pretty good job at keeping the water at a consistent temperature. The heater kicks on whenever my water drops down to 77 degrees and it turns off whenever my water gets to 79 degrees. I really like that the heater control panel shows you the temperature of you water and the temperature that you have the heater set at. It also has a red light that indicates that the heater is running which I also really like.

Purchased this in April and it worked great until August. I was in the middle of moving and had to do a tank clean for my turtle. In all the chaos going on that day I accidentally took the heater out and forgot to unplug it. Less than 5min later I started smelling a burning plastic smell and thought it was coming in from the outside. However when I went into other rooms no smell. I come back into the room to have the smell 100x worse and see the heater on the table SMOKING! I unplug it and run out of the house with it and had to pour water onto it to get it to stop burning. I specifically bought this heater because of the automatic shut off feature and it totally failed. This could gave been a disaster had I left the room and not returned for a while.
