First of all, I have tiny hands and wrists. This fit perfect. I needed something that wasn't cumbersome to fit underneath a latex glove to give me a little extra support while I dog groom. This is perfect. I wish it had a tad more support, but overall, I will be making this purchase again. It was worth it to me. Washability: This washes well in the washer, I just hang to dry. Size: Fits my tiny hands and wrists well.

I bought this brand in the past and it was great. However, I bought a replacement and it does not support my thumb. They substituted what was a supportive metal brace with a flimsy, useless metal brace that is less than half the size and is useless is stabilizing the thumb.

I ordered these for my 86 year old mother to help with her arthritis pain in her thumb. She already had a couple of thumb splints with velcro straps that she used sometimes but she didn’t like wearing them as they were too bulky and complicated to get on with only one hand to tighten and secure the straps. They were also very rigid and when wearing them she couldn’t use her hand well enough to pick things up or hold things effectively. When we received these I was doubtful as they are so sheer and lightweight. It didn’t seem like they would offer much support or stability but my doubts were unwarranted. Mom LOVES them! She can wear them all day and spend hours playing her games on her iPad with her stylus without any pain. They are very thin and form fitting with no bulky straps. They are very easy for her to slip on and off with only one hand. The pink/beige color blends well with her skin tone and doesn’t stand out. She isn’t self conscious about wearing them in public as they are barely noticeable. The rigid thumb support inside them is still flexible enough to allow her to pick things up, write and use the stylus for gaming on her iPad while still restricting her thumb movement enough to prevent her pain. She is VERY happy with these thumb braces and I am very happy see her using her hands pain free.

The cons: his wrist and thumb stabilizer runs small and the fabric is not very stretchy, making it uncomfortable to put it on and to wear for a long period of time. In addition, the position of the metal splint works appropriately on the left hand, but it feels out of place on the right hand, despite being advertised as for either the left or the right hand. The pros: It is light weight, the fabric is soft, and it does provide a bit of support while allowing movement of the thumb and wrist. This is all I need but it may not work for someone that needs a immobilizer instead of a stabilizer. It also washes and dries easily.

Comfortable and fits my need. Gives my thumb support and reduces the pain.

If you are looking for support, this isn't it. I really wanted this to work! I have avoided wearing my regular brace because it gets on my nerves, it is awkward, heavy, and hot. I have a small wrist- a smidge over 6 inches, but purchased the medium because of some of the reviews. The small might have worked better, but then again, I would not have been able to get it over my hand and painful thumb if I had. This "splint" is smooth, soft, and comfortable, but provides no support. It is perfect, however, for wearing under a more substantial splint, and that is what I am doing. For reference, I purchased the Fortemotus CMC thumb brace and am quite happy with it.

Really like this glove brace..very lightweight, easy to put on and off, comfortable to wear all day and SO affordable. My first purchase was for the pink and have consequently ordered the tan, black & gray as well as another pink. I need the support if offers for my CMC joint pain and I can wear this under my heavier wrist brace when needed. My only complaint (I received my black and tan a couple of days ago) is, with my first purchase of the pink, they included a plastic (more rigid) "stay" in addition to the mesh. I prefer the more rigid stay BUT the black & tan did NOT include the extra plastic stay. Not sure why but I will just keep moving the one I DO have to whichever splint I wear..super easy to remove!

Basically useless. While it has a "bar" for the thumb it is so bendable it does NOTHING to stabilize. Luckily I had already purchased one locally and asked to return and gotten a refund - they didn't want this back so I threw it away since it would serve no purpose and do nothing to help my thumb.
