Carte Noire Coffee 100 g (Pack of 6)

Great product. I only drink Carte Noire instant coffee as the other stuff I've tried over the years has been dire. I don't have to tolerate this brand as the coffee actually tastes good. And the price these are going for is a real bargain and beats the supermarket prices when the offers are available (usually £2.00 per jar when it's on offer). Very happy with the product and a long use by date as well (06/13 ..it's on the base of the jar but is incredibly difficult to see unless you remove the jar wrapping and tilt the jar to the light ;-)). Definitely recommend this deal.

This is in my view the best instant coffee there is,percol come close,not fond of the bean and instant mixes available.Normally buy this around the £4 per jar mark,as priced in supermarkets when on offer but easier to have it delivered by Amazon.Got it for £12ish on a shortlived price error which was honoured,well done Amazon.Dont advise using Subscribe and Save as price fluctuates wildly,could cost a fortune so best avoided.Lastly I really don't understand why so many people have trouble opening these jars,never had a problem myself.

Indeed this is a good value compare to buying it in the supermarket.However, I find it each Jar, the coffee's aroma and roast tastes quality are inconsistent. Some I find it taste good as the one I first bought, some just doesn't taste as quality as others, or just a normal instant coffee.Otherwise, I would have give it 5 stars, as I really like this coffee!!

I paid £15.00 for this coffee which works out at £2.50 per 100g.....the coffee is great, love it but at the same time Sainsbury's had the same coffee on offer for £2.00 per 100gram aaaargh

Bought the new so called Carte Noir last week, absolutely tasteless nothing like the original

I am afraid that I am still looking for the elusive instant coffee that tastes like coffee.After reading other reviews I thought this may be the one, but I was wrong.Reasonable price for an average instant, but won't buy again.

I buy this coffee all the time and bought from Amazon this time because it was a bargain compared to my local supermarket. Just had one problem - I couldn't undo the jars, I am no weakling but found it impossible to open any of them, after trying various methods I took them to my neighbour who opened all jars in his vice !! Even then it was tough going and shattered almost every top. I just wondered how a frail old person would cope.

I bought these six jars of 200g - double the size of normal jar. This is quality instant coffee, I like strong coffee & this hits the spot in the morning. At the time of my order it was 22 pound for six jars, a bargain, well worth buying in bulk, arrived next day after order, very efficient...
