Initially I was a little apprehensive about buying this as it was my first ever DIY install. However, this was a very easy shower to install. Yes, it was a little fiddly in parts, but I wanted to install this into previous holes, and it worked perfectly. Once I got over the initial fiddly screws, the instructions were simple to follow, and I had the shower installed in 15 minutes. One point to note is that you may need an extra "hose" to connect the shower to the tap, as the one supplied may be a little small, but luckily I had a spare that I could swap in easily. All items are supplied. I have had this product for a couple of months now and it is working perfectly. The overhead shower provides good pressure (although this is down to your tap) and it feels great to shower in, no leakages.

For just under £60 this unit is really good . Very easy to install to the old single shower riser so no drilling was needed in my case . The look of it is probably the best out there & I looked at many & not just via Amazon . The only part which I found fiddly was the small nuts on the pipe holder brackets . Make sure you put the plug in your bath or cover the shower tray as they only supply 4 & any lost it would be a pain to get more . This was the hardest part but I managed it easy enough with another pair of helpful hands . I didn’t want two large hanging water hoses getting tangled up to use as the main feed from the Mira shower unit to the overhead pipe so I decided to use a Flexible Hose 1/2" x 1/2" x 300mm £2:45 purchased from screw fix . That is the small hose you can see pictured that comes from my existing Mira shower install . The width of my above the bath shower is tight & the only other option was to off set the overhead water feed pipework but this wouldn’t have worked as it wouldn’t have been central when stood in the bath . The screw fix flexi hose gave me the ability to keep it central to the wall space / bath. . Yes it would be better without it but much better than another shower hose dangling down & helps with the water pressure as there is less length for the water to travel through. If fitting to a bath mixer tap then obviously this wouldn’t work & you would need the hose . Make sure you use all the rubber 0 rings in the connections as it will spring leaks if forgot . I used an extra 0 rubber washer in both ends of the Flexible Hose 1/2" x 1/2" x 300mm & also used PTFE Tape 12m x 12mm on the threads . Including all the joints inc the water facet heads . PTFE tape cost 28p from screw fix which for a sure water tight seal on everything why not . If you are looking to replace a single use shower or bath tap to shower to this then I’m sure you can’t go wrong it works great & is very simple to install.

Bit flimsy but works and easy to install. No leaks yet and so far so good and looks the part.

I was looking for a rainfall shower for my wet room project and didn’t want to remove the expensive mixer i already had. This connects directly to the thermostatic mixer outlet and has a small dial for switching between rain and shower head. Installation is easy and the attachments encompass the Main shower bar. Recommend you have decent drill bits for tile’s so you can get a decent hold for the brackets. I didn’t use the plastic tray also provided as it didn’t have any holes so would collect soap and scum over time. Rainfall is great and wide enough to enjoy the experience. Would purchase again and recommend to others looking for a way to update an old shower head with something sturdy and quality built

Superb quality and value for money. It only took me 20 minutes to assemble and install, I had read reviews saying they thought this was of poor quality. I couldn't disagree more, I think it's very well made and if you follow the instructions there are no leaks. It also looks fabulous and has transformed my showering experience. I highly recommend it at the price.

Updated 29/01/24 - I wanted a shower column that fitted over my existing holes which are quite far apart, and a fixed downward shower head that was much further away from my wall. I liked the look of this because it also had a flexible, single handed, shower head - ideal for cleaning the bath. The review is my personal opinion based on my purchase. If they included all the information they printed on the box customers would get a better idea of what they are buying. Positive - Item arrived very quickly Well packed Wall brackets have enough range (max 840mm) to fit exactly over existing holes Quick reply from Customer Service to original query raised (max length between brackets) There are plastic chrome covers for the screws that face forward Very easy to install but Negative- One of the hoses had not been finished properly and I cut my finger on the sharp metal Plastic look and feel - particularly soap dish, brackets Chrome effect already has light marks and I suspect this is due to being applied to plastic Fixing brackets are plastic clamps so there is a seam on either and I could hear the plastic creak when tightening - be careful Found the washer for the square shower head in the same bubble bag as the square head. Almost missed it. My photos give you a much better idea of what you are getting. The hose lengths are 1500mm and 600mm. Compatible will 1/2" BSP shower fittings. I have a mixer tap on a bath. I'm 5'11" tall. Given the length of the flexible hose (600mm) and pole length, there is very little gap between the base of the square shower head and the top of my head when I stand directly underneath it. Ideally I'd have linked a longer hose length to fit to the mixer. The would have negated the tight bend too. You get what you pay for.
