Can you love a toilet seat? Yes, as a matter of fact, you can. I didn’t have any of the recommended Home Depot buckets that this seat supposedly fits perfectly, but after trying out several of the buckets I already own, found one that it fit on perfectly. Slipping that bucket inside of another bucket added a few inches that made the height perfect for me. This snaps into place securely and stays, so there’s no fear of slippage while you go. A plastic kitchen bag in the bucket, and some sawdust to absorb the go, covers the basics of use. The seat has a softer foam insert so you don’t hurt your heinie, and it is removable so you can clean and air the whole unit easily and adequately. The seat lid snaps on tight to help contain odors. Living rurally—where we can lose electricity, and so water, since the well pump doesn’t work—I’ve used this in an indoor situation and even over the course of several days’ collection, it works great.

Works very well. I have the thick heavy duty bucket from Lowe's and it was a tight fit but it stays on hard. I had to sit on it to properly get it to snap in.

Camping girly and man this was the perfect purchase with potty training toddler. Actually does fit a Lowe’s bucket and honestly it was comfortable 😅 I used it too and it held my weight easily so it’s durable. Worth every penny!

Great addition to the 5 gallon camping bucket, but takes time to actually conform to the bucket. Far more comfortable than perching over the bucket!

Was amazed how nice this seat actually is. Great quality. Little hard to open. Fits on a five gallon bucket perfectly. Sturdy and durable. Lightweight, easy to clean. We use this for traveling.

This winter was brutal. The p trap on my toilet under my mobile home frozen completely rendering all my plumbing useless. It was frozen for 2 weeks. I was reduced to using a bucket. After the first time I told myself I needed a seat. This thing is more comfortable than my actual toilet. It is easy to clean, it locks on tight and closes well. Paired with some scented 4 gallon trash bags from Walmart this thing has been an absolute life saver. Im going to make sure to keep it for camping and emergency winter bathroom toilet. I'm sure it will last for years.

Worked great on a Home Depot bucket. Using for camping where there isn’t any toilets. Durability is good, pretty sturdy easy to clean and decent thickness.

This seat is great for emergencies. This seat fits snugly onto my Home Depot bucket. The pad feels very comfortable. Because this seat attaches to a five-gallon bucket, the opening is not as large as that of a standard bucket therefore this seat is not for the obese.
