With absolutely no exaggeration, I have never used a better moisturiser than Cerave. I have tried almost all of the popular ones you can think of, and I swear buy and will always now repurchase this one. It's so nice and lightweight on the skin, quick drying, whilst the ceramides deeply moisturise your skin and encourage it to naturally produce moisture for itself. You end up with a beautiful natural glow and dew from within, that makes you shine and makes your skin appear less dull. I use it on my face after cleansing and in photos, it makes your skin look plump, supple, with a pretty reflection. The dew is not oily looking, just a natural shine. Just wow, I can't praise it enough. When on sale, it's also a bargain, as the large bottle lasts ages, around 4-6 months if you only use it on the face like me. It is the most moisturising lightweight lotion I've found, whilst still being lightweight and drying and sits and feels natural on the skin, with no left over feeling. The literal only complaint is I wish it was just that little bit more moisturising - that little bit more would be great for cold British winters, it still remains what I use in winter too, though and all other seasons here in the UK it's great.

Once upon a time, in the not-so-far-away land of My Bathroom, there lived a humble tub of moisturizing lotion. But oh, dear reader, this was no ordinary lotion. This was the Moisturising Lotion of Legends, a veritable knight in shining armor for parched skin everywhere. My trusty sidekick and I (that's my adventurous 3-year-old for those not in the know) embarked on a quest to conquer the dreaded Dragons of Dryness. For my valiant little partner, these dragons manifested as dry patches, fearsome foes that had eluded many a potion and spell. Yet, with just a dollop of our magical lotion, those dragons were tamed, their scaly wrath soothed into submission. Her skin transformed from a parched parchment to a smooth canvas, ready for the masterpieces only a toddler can create. As for me, the noble knight in this saga, the dragons took form around my noble visage. Yes, even knights suffer from the tyranny of dry skin, my valiant steed (or rather, my face) adorned with the parched landscapes of my top lip and the noble forests of my sideburns. Yet, this lotion, with its mystical powers, vanquished the dryness without leaving behind a greasy residue, akin to a wizard's spell that leaves no trace except for its wondrous magic. The potion's vessel, a large tub, is akin to a treasure chest, brimming with an abundance of creamy riches. Its value, unparalleled; its contents, a balm to soothe the most tempestuous of skins. And let us not forget the texture, oh the texture! As delightful as the finest silks from the far-off lands of Smoothville, it glides upon the skin with the grace of a thousand swans. A marvel to behold, this lotion carries no scent, a boon for those of us embarked on stealthy quests who wish not to announce our presence with the fanfare of fragrances. It's as if it whispers, "I am here to hydrate, not to overpower." So here we stand, my daughter and I, battle-worn yet victorious, our skin a testament to the battles we've won. We owe our triumph to this unscented, non-greasy, marvelously textured, and economically sized tub of Moisturising Lotion. Five stars to this heroic companion in our daily adventures, a true ally in the eternal fight against the Dragons of Dryness!

Being mixed-ethnicities (African*, Italian**, Caribbean***, British****; *Ghanaian, **Sicilian, ***Trinidadian, ****English), I find it very difficult to find a decent moisturising lotion that CONTINUES to work indefinitely!.. Most of the well-known, popular, high-quality & expensive variants all seem to stop working after 2 days to 2 weeks... Every type of E45, Epimax, Simple, Palmers, Vaseline (lotion range) & Nivea all performed the WORST. Cheap brands worked better, like Arnica from Home Bargains or lip balm but on my face, chest, neck, head, back & arms, with some Aveeno variations closely behind. I had to use Vaseline Lip Therapy for my face, head & body, because the normal Vaseline tubs did not work, only the lip therapy small round tins!.. That was until I finally tried this one. I had tried 2 different CeraVe products before, but never this specific version; I wish I had found it sooner, as it is literally the best-working product thus far, that has reduced my incessant skin issues... I get a hard-to-manage crusty & dry skin problem that occurs on either side of my nose, under my bottom lip, on the scalp, the tops + bottoms of my ears where they connect to my head & occasionally the fold behind them and sometimes on my forehead, which, if not tamed well-enough, can spread across the majority of my face and scalp... This causes a lot of skin-breaks and leakage, which in-turn creates crust from the dried fluid/s + rapid skin growth that then causes more dry skin and itchy + very sore sites. It's not too noticeable, at a glance it just looks like tiny flakes of skin that can be somewhat disguised if kept moist, but it stays hard/crusty in areas. Washing and exfoliating only breaks the skin and causes even more fluid to leak and form more crust, and Vaseline (petroleum jelly) only encases it in a greasy barrier that disguises it, rather than cures it. And when I use even the most-recommended moisturisers, the sites just absorb the lotion & dries-up rapidly, doing absolutely nothing, and it stings, no matter what I use! Very sore. When I use this lotion though, I can barely feel it (no unbearable stinging sensation on sore/raw sites/broken skin), and it even produces a calming sense of relief... due to the nature of my skin, I do have to apply multiple layers, every 5-10 minutes, so my skin can absorb the lotion well-enough - and then after about 3-5 layers, I use a thin, medium, or thick layer of Hydromol (which is an ointment, somewhat similar to like a prescribed, greasier Vaseline, but better, and is prescribed for difficult-to-manage dry skin conditions - including eczema & psoriasis), to 'lock-in' the previously applied lotion and prevent rapid drying of the site/s. This lotion 'dries' fairly quickly, in a matter of seconds-to-minutes, depending on the density of the layer/s, quantity & coverage. It is certainly not a cream, definitely a 'true' lotion - semi-translucent; minimally opaque, in appearance, and isn't overtly 'thick' nor is it full-bodied and difficult to spread & absorb... it spreads quite far and absorbs surprisingly quick for a 'wet-feeling' lotion - using a pea-sized amount for reference, it quickly diminishes and needs another coat/layer within seconds, so more generous amounts are highly-recommended! After even just a single use, the majority of my facial skin has reverted back to super-soft, baby-smooth textures that consistently retains it's radiant features + olive-tan pigment (skin colour). My only issues with the dry, flaky, crusty breakouts had almost completely vanished after only a few days! There is nothing visible, only when I touch the sides of my nose, can I feel an ever so slight remnant of the dry/crust - it has almost completely healed! The back of my ears + the neck just below them are back to normal, with my forehead being the first to heal on day 1. The one pore under my bottom lip, to the right has become the final of that small breakout, and is also nearly gone, just the tiniest faint sensation of a pinpoint single pore 'bump' left that is hard to find it's so small. My face isn't itchy and doesn't make me feel conscious about people seeing the dried areas or crust anymore, it has completely resolved that issue entirely! The facial skin doesn't appear reddened or 'dull' in areas anymore, and it is full of colour and radiance again!.. I 'feel' like it looks 'smooth', because it does... whereas prior to use, I felt like hiding my face in shame, even though it wasn't at all noticeable to others (the dry skin) as I would pick it off and use the greasy Hydromol to make it temporarily 'clear', but it was [my skin] physically uncomfortable and bothering me & messing up my psyche! I would only get moderately close to how I feel + look now, but for only a short day or two, by dramatically overusing the expensive version of head & shoulders, with gentle antiseptic cleansing fluids, special shower creams, oils & a few other lotions, mixed with some water in a large pump bottle, multiple times, over and over, each day! Not at all ideal to use all those chemicals mixed together! Hyaluronic acid & ceramides is what I really needed, and I am grateful that I decided to try this out, because it is basically everything that I was attempting to replicate by using concoctions of other products!.. Also, I had tried many other products with these ingredients, in varying quantities/mixtures, and never managed to achieve these insanely decent results! I now religiously use this throughout the day, to suppress and/or prevent any dry, crusty flaky skin breakouts from happening, with a more confident sense of control that I NEVER really had before!

As someone with sensitive skin, this has been great as a daily moisturiser. My skin feels softer, more nurtured and I feel like I get a nice natural glow from it. Not sticky or overly fragranced. Easy to apply in no time at all. A small amount goes a long way compared to other moisturisers. However, I often find (as someone with dry skin) that my skin absorbs it quickly, meaning I often need to reapply more frequently. It disappears fast, which is a pro in terms of appearance and a con in terms of lasting hydration. Overall, it has made my skin look and feel better.

I have been using this cerave lotion for quite some time now. This is an excellent quality moisturizer lotion. Gives very good coverage, absorbs fast, does not leave any stickiness/oily feeling. It is especially lightweight and does not cause any sort of dermatological breakouts on my skin. Best time to use it is right after drying up after a bath. Cerave leaves the skin moisturized for a long time if used like this. Even though it is pricier than the alternatives, it is still worth it.

I love this moisturiser! It’s a lightweight, non-greasy formula that sinks in quickly, but it still hydrates my skin so well. It’s a perfect moisturiser for my sensitive and acne prone skin, because it’s non-comedogenic, very gentle and helps prevent dryness/pealing I sometimes get that’s caused by the benzoyl peroxide acne treatment I use. I use this moisturiser morning and night and I’ve been getting great results. One of the things that I love most about this product is that it never irritates my eyes. I’ve bought so many moisturisers and skincare products that sting really badly if they accidentally get into my eyes, but I’ve never had that issue with this one. The bottle is large (so don’t buy it for travelling) and you get quite a lot of product. It’s good value for money. I highly recommend this moisturiser!
