Exceptional Coffee Maker and company
This machine is really different. It's automated pour over, grinds your beans on the spot, and even includes a great quality scale to measure just the right amount of coffee for a perfect cup. It's gorgeous on my counter, and the grinder is much quieter than my-now replaced- espresso machine. You can customize your perfect cut, and though, I haven't had time to really dive into all the functions, and brews, you can go down a rabbit hole and get it perfectly dialed in. I love HOT coffee (dont come after me) and this allows me to hit boiling point. The water capacity is decent for its size, and the entire footprint of it is perfect and super compact on my counter which I love. It also allows you to use their pods/premeasured coffee or your own beans/dripper. I can go on and on with pros. There's only one Con so far, but sadly it's a big one which makes me consider returning (which I reeeeeeeeally don't want to do) coming from an all metal machine to this one, and I truly didn't think this would be a thing, I noticed I feel bad after drinking my coffee, I tried it over and over, and I don't consume anything else and felt fine before consuming, but it happened every time, I also used my same beans that I have used for years, I suspect it might be the whole hot water through plastic thing, so I decided to switch and not use it for a few days and I felt just fine every time. I went back and used it with a new fresh bag of my trusty beans and I felt sick again. could it be the plastic? Did anyone else experience this?? I found out they have a metal version of this but not sold on Amazon, so I can't do an exchange either, and I'm willing to pay more for that. All in all, this machine is amazing and I highly recommend it if you're coming from another plastic set up. I have health concerns about it and if I do return it that would be the only reason. Also, I want to mention something VERY important when buying a coffee maker which is the company you're working with, I messaged this company before buying and their customer service was absolutely AMAZING. which again makes this even harder to return.

Great machine and value
I absolutely love this coffee maker. It is so unique and has multiple functions. Yes the initial price might seem daunting to someone newer into coffee. However, the value for what you get is great, you get a good burr grinder which is not cheap on its own and a decent scale in addition to the auto pour function. The pods are so easy to use and I love that it can be utilized with your own beans. The best pour over coffee that I have had is with this xBloom.

A Revolution in Coffee
This is an amazing machine, and in my opinion, represents a revolution in coffee making. For just under $600 you get a programmable largely automatic machine that has a multi-speed grinder, a scale, a sophisticated water heater and dispenser, and multiple basket/filter holders. You can go the xBloom coffee bean xpod route, or just as easily use your own beans (likely fresher, better, and less expensive). Thousands of recipes for your beans and style of pour over are available through xBloom, the xBloom Studio discourse community (reddit, etc.) and Chatgpt (e.g., xBloom Master app). Or you can easily make your own recipe for whatever beans you have and and type of pour over you want to make using, for example, the xBloom Master app (accessible through Chatgpt). I sincerely doubt most pour over baristas, home or commercial, can reliably and repeatedly equal the results provided by this machine. True, it only makes one cup of coffee at a time (which is also true if you are making a pour over cup using conventional methods). With the xBloom Studio just choose your beans of the day, get the Omni-filter basket ready with a filter, pick your recipe on the xBloom app, start the brewing process on the app, dump your beans in the grinder port, and come back in 3 or 4 minutes for your perfectly made cup of coffee. The coffee this machine makes is remarkable, and it takes just about all the hassle out of the pour over process. It provides far superior coffee to a conventional filter coffee machine (and I hear in comparison to a Fellow Aiden as well), and in most cases a better cup of coffee than a pour over you make yourself. I've only had my machine for two weeks, and so I can't speak to medium or long term reliability. I'm hoping the machine will hold up since it is complicated. No problems yet though except for once the app had trouble executing (solved by unplugging the machine and powering back up). Reports regarding a difficult to use app or overly-complicated machine are IMHO biggly exaggerated. What the machine does is complicated. You'll need to spend a little time figuring out how to use it, how to add and edit app recipes, etc. Just not a big deal for people who pay attention. This is not a plug-and-play machine -- until you become familiar with it and learn how to use it. Then a whole new world of pour over excellence will be yours -- every morning in 3-5 minutes while you brush your teeth. My espresso machine has not been used since the xBloom arrived. It's a genuine game changer. Kudos to the developers of this machine. xBloom paper filters for the Omni-filter fit much better than Kalita 155 paper filters, and are well worth the extra marginal cost.

Awesome coffee maker!!
This was a Christmas present for my son and daughter-in-law. They love it. It does everything they wanted in a coffee maker. Impressed by its performance. Coffee is hot, tastes great, although it was kind of expensive. Hope they enjoy.

Broke on day 2. STAY AWAY FROM THIS VERSION!
Grinding stopped functioning on day 2. I loved it when it was working. Great idea executed carelessly. Found a Fix: Ok, this is a great machine when it is working, but the hole where the beans enter the grinder is too small, so when you are using a dark roast beans, it can get stuck and no beans enter the grinding compartment. The fix is that remove the scale cover, remove the water reservoir, then flip it upside down and spank it like crazy. You have to angle it right so all the beans previous entered in to the grinder also comes out. After you removed all the beans, try again and it will work. I am performing this once at least every two days. My wife is upset about it but I can't give up because it brews great coffee. So, my recommendation is skip on this version and get the next version if they fix the grinder issue. It will be also very nice if I can have more than 3 pre-programmed brewing assigned to the dial. Right now, it only supports A, B, C, but I think they can easily make the change to do D, E, F by dialing the knob.

The most comprehensive pourover set up you'll find out there.
The Xbloom is designed for everyone who's into coffee in mind. If you're well versed in the coffee world, then you can geek out all you want. For beginners? The entire process is simplified for you with a card. The Xbloom comes with a built-in grinder, which does a very good job. I put the grinder up against my personal ZP6. While the flavor clarity is not as high as the ZP6, it still produce a great cup of coffee. The result is still impressive nonetheless. The machine offers all kinds of controls that you can think of, like grind size, grinding speed, flow rate, agitation, brew ratio, temperature, bloom time, etc. All of which you can access using the Xbloom App, which you can also create your own profiles that tailor to your taste, or dialing in certain beans. So far, the Xbloom does not disappoint. At the bottom of the drip tray, you'll find a built-in scale, which is quite convenient to use. Although, the scale is a bit awkward to use because of how low it is, and how cramp it is at the bottom. But, considering the value for what I get? I really cannot complain. Quite literally everything you need to brew a good cup of coffee is all built into the machine. I bought this Xbloom for my girlfriend, who is not a coffee nerd. She enjoys drinking coffee, not so much making it. I brew my own coffee with a V60, but since we do not live together, the Xbloom is the substitute for my V60 to her. At first, the machine is not at all user-friendly for her. However, I showed her how to use the included 3-pour card recipe, and that simplifies the entire process for her. All she needed to do is to tap the card on top of the machine and press go. A delicious cup of coffee is ready for her in 3 minutes. I really mean it when I mentioned this machine is for everyone. Whether you're a coffee nerd, or just an average coffee drinker, the Xbloom will provide you with everything you need, and more. For $500, you get an all-in-one set up in an extremely compact package. I highly recommend the Xbloom and hope that this review helps you make your decision.

Great grinder, great brews!
Works wonderfully when you want a single cup of coffee, brewing a cup exactly like you want through its presets (though I actually just use the RFID cards and then change it to the respective setting for the coffee beans I'm pouring in). The scale works pretty well, which I've tested against some reference weights, and the grinder actually works so well that I can use it for espresso in my Gaggia Classic, too. It's also a great looking device, which I have front and center on my counter, and my guests have been wowed by the coffee and the fun operation of the machine, too. My only notes are that the water tank has a pitiful capacity, which only has enough for 3 brews and has a very small opening for pouring in water, and the hopper can get stuck if you have some particularly large beans, which can be a pain to clean out.

Great price, great quality, great taste!
I am primarily a black coffee drinker, and so I’ve usually stuck with either a French press or batch brewer. However, I was always looking for something with an integrated grinder and something that can make one cup at a time so I’m not wasting so much coffee each time. This machine answered all my prayers! The price is great for you get, and the simplicity of it is fantastic. You have the option of using pre dosed pods (which are a thousand times nicer than Kcups or other pre ground pods) or your own beans. Both options are super convenient and simple, and produce great coffee. I’m hoping that the company will soon partner with bigger speciality roasters such as Stumptown or Counter Culture (they may have in the past and I just don’t know about it) to produce delicious recipes for their more standard blends/offerings. I love a good niche bean, but also love my standard go to. Would definitely buy again!
