I was hesitant to order these because I have not been impressed with any of the budget adjustable dumbbells that I've looked at before, but I can't say enough how impressed I am with these for the price. The weight selection is simple and solid, it's quick and there's no guesswork involved! My only critique would be on the plastic cradles; I would like to see those made little bit beefier, especially on the edges. I personally think the copper handles give a cool factor that you won't find with many other dumbbells in this range.

I have a few of CAP's gym products, so I felt very confident ordering these dumbbells (ordered 2). I was right in doing so, they are a good set. They feel very sturdy and click into their weight slot easily. I use them often. To top it off, they offer amazing customer service. One of the dumbbells gave me a problem where a weight would stay loose and dropped out while initially picking them up. It rarely happened and I suspect was caused during shipment (box was a bit banged up). Since it happened so infrequently, I just dealt with it, especially as it was at max weight and was noticeable right away. I learned how to pick it up and ensured it was always in place. Of Course it manifested itself again after Amazon's return period. I filed a warranty claim and they sent out a replacement part immediately. I would never expect their quality and customer service at this price point. Great Value.

This thing is pretty awesome. Just a quick twist on its platform and you can adjust the weight. Grip is also comfortable. Would recommend.

Generally a good product, very space efficient for home workouts. It's important to note that based on the build even the lightest configuration of the handle will still be extremely wide (usually not a problem, but important to point out). The build quality seems appropriate for the price, but I did notice some wiggling of the weight disks.

Solid and easy to dial in weights. Haven’t had an issue with plates falling off. Use 1-2 times a week for chest presses and sometimes chest flys.

DO NOT PURCHASE. The concept of these is great. I've had the 25-lb set for years and never had an issue. Once I moved up to these, at 55 lbs, the problems were endless. I bought my first set in September 2025. By the first of October, the cheap little plastic rings that actually manage the Select-a-Weight mechanism fell out in several pieces and the weights dropped off like confetti. I returned that set, thinking it was a one-off. My second set lasted until yesterday, January 28, 2026. And I think only because I took most of December 2025 off! The little cheapo plastic rings that actually control these things is ridiculously fragile, completely not up to the task of dealing with the stresses and torquing its subjected to during a workout.
