I will say that the housings themselves are nearly identical to the stock units. Except that the way the bulbs attach is different, (at least for my 2011 model). So, the bulbs required are therefore different. That being said, they arrived with bulbs already installed and a connector lead that converts the connector of the truck to the type of connector required by their bulbs. Installation is unbelievably simple. There are 3 plastic fasteners that push into the receptacle of the bumper and hold the entire assembly in place. Tip: a 10mm socket pushed over the end of the fasteners will force all 4 little catches to release and allow you to easily push the fastener out. You then re-use the fasteners by taking them off of the old assembly and pushing them onto the new one, then push them back into place. I would suggest buying new fasteners as mine no longer fit as securely as they did with the stock units. Note: the lights do NOT come with yellow lenses or covers. I applied a yellow film before I decided to review them.

Installation wasn't too bad. Used a box wrench. If you don't have a lift, prepare to be on your back in a tight space. They look good.

I bought these because my Chevy has the Chevy Fog-light Syndrome (fog-lights with broken glass), Nothing about this purchase was successful, absolutely NO OEM fitment of the brackets, the brackets were to low profiled compared to the GM originals and would not fit even closely to the screw mounts on the bumper, these new one end up to high and you cannot adjust the light enough to make it work, the light mounting to the bracket is up too high. To make these fit you will need to screw them directly on to the plastic on the bumper which is a royal pain in the @xx if you need to do it nice and neat from the inside. I was trying to attempt to use the old brackets, but the lights will not fit those brackets at all so you will either need to directly screw these in to the bumper either from the inside or outside through the plastic or find a different set of lights that has a direct fitment because these DO NOT fit my Chevy Tahoe 2001. After some tweaks to finally get them placed I noticed they don't even work, and yes I did check fuses and relays and they were not at fault here. I am hugely disappointed and I cannot recommend trying these. Right now they are installed just for esthetics to make the car look better, but is not functioning and I have ordered a replacement to see if the new one at least will light up, they will still not fit but at least I made it look better. I didn't have high expectations from the beginning in terms of great lighting or quality, (quality-wise they are very light and cheap feeling), I did however expect them to fit properly and at least light up. Look elsewhere or spend a few more bucks on lights with higher quality that might actually be an OEM fit.
