DEWALT 20V MAX* LED Work Light/Flashlight (DCL040)

We bought this fabulous flashlight over two-and-a-half years ago, and it continues to be such a great purchase! How many flashlights have you bought for a lot less that do not last? Guess what, those garbage flashlights still cost money and will continue to disappoint. Save yourself the anguish and just buy this one! Short answer: Buy this one. Longer Answer: BUY THIS ONE and here are a few reasons why: Dewalt, across the board, is an amazing product line and this one is no exception. The battery not only holds a charge for an extended amount of time (like months) it also allows you to work with it for a lot longer than the competitors do. I know this because I have foolishly purchased other brands. I also believe it charges faster than others but that just might be me. Oh, and these batteries recharge over and over again! When our power went out and our special-needs daughter needed to know she had a flashlight to get to the bathroom, this little champion was right there! The actual light produced is incredible, and there are two settings. The actual light produced is so clear and seriously bright, even over two years later! I love the fact that it really does stand up on its own without tipping over. I also love that the head pivots to so many incriments to make it a hero at any job. A flashlight is one of those things that, well, when you need it, you need it. You probably do not have the luxury of recharging it at that moment, right? This one will not let you down. I would seriously consider it for any gift list! Yes, you have to buy the battery and charger, like most of its competitors. These are well worth it. The batteries are also interchangeable with all Dewalt items. Again, buy this, you will thank me.

I love the ability to connect a Dewalt battery, of which I have several due to ice fishing with my dewalt drill doing the work, to this spotlight. Since I already had some, this purchase was a no brainer. The spotlight has two settings. High and low in lumens and it doesn't disappoint you. Very bright. I will take it outside one of these evenings to see how it performs. I tried it in my house upon receipt from Amazon and it is great. Dewalt makes a good product so I didn't hesitate when I saw the sale price. You simply depress the push trigger once and you get the big lumens. On the second depression, you get the low lumens. On the third push, it goes off. Simple process. In all, you won't be disappointed with this spotlight. I primarily purchased it for night tracking wounded deer but I will also use it in the house. The 10 positions work great so it doubles for me when doing work projects. It is lightweight also and the ergonomic is a perfect fit.

Simply THE BEST!!! I love Dewalt and with my investment in their batteries, this is a no brainer. It lights up SO WELL!!! I use it for everything! Battery life is good, light is excellent. Only small complaint, is that they used to make them with a red light (great for night vision) and I could not find them. I now own or have gifted 4 of these units. If you have an investment in Dewalt 20V batteries, this is a no brainer!

This light is very durable and user friendly. It shines bright or dim, you decide. It is adjustable in many positions and can be hung as well. I’ve used this light for countless hours and it doesn’t even use a bar in my DeWALT batteries.

Nice and bright little light, and pretty compact too. It’s a handy light to have around and I tend to use it more than my headlight. My only complaint is that the swivel head seems to be too loose. Most recently, I was working on an exterior door at night and had the light on the ground pointing where I needed it. Every time I bent down to pick something up, the edge of my jacket would push the head all the way down. It wasn’t even a very heavy jacket, so that says something. Other than that, it’s been a good addition to the toolbox.

La lampara es un excelente compra, tiene un alcance de 50 metros aproximadamente con mucha potencia, a más distancia funciona pero va disminuyendo. Si se usa en un espacio cerrado y se apunta para arriba lo ilumina todo perfectamente. Pra cosas de cerca, hay que apuntar indirectamente por que encandila. Como se aprecia viene sin batería y cargador, son con costos extras y nos son muy baratos, si se carece de ellos vale la pena considerarlo por lo que aumenta, además que para uso casero esta muy sobrada. De la duración de la batería, funciona con la tecnología dewalt, es decir, la intensidad de la luz no decae, hasta ya casi cuando se va a terminar la batería se apaga completamente, lo que la hace de muy buen rendimiento por que la batería de 1.5 amperes dura sin problemas 7 horas en su mejor intensidad. Ahora que si se le pone una de 2 o de 4 amperes, sin problemas alcanzaría las 10 horas en adelante. El materia es bueno, creo que podría ser un poco más robusta, sin embargo la ligereza también ayuda, entonces el peso depende de la batería que se usa. finalmente, cabe destacar que una batería se carga en media hora aproximadamente.
