Good choice!
Use these to carry water from a spring weekly. They are super rugged and holding together well after a year and a half of use.

Excellent
While very durable and easy to use it does not stand up well on its own. Great for trips with refilling drinks. Also great for filling half way with water and freezing it for ice in cooler - no mess when the ice melts. Plus you still have water to drink, if needed.

Makeshift Air Conditioner
After looking for cooling mats, and realizing most were simply bags filled with cold water, I tested with my water bottle (you know, those old-fashioned red ones that you fill with water) to see if this idea would work. I filled the water bottle with water, froze it, then set it out, wrapped once in a towel, for my cat. He hates being indoors, but I Know in Florida as a medium-haired cat he's got to be hot, even on the shaded patio. Sure enough, after a couple days, he gravitated towards the frozen bottle. But, I needed something that would last longer. That started my search for the product I'm reviewing. And they work Marvelously for keeping Monkey cool. The good: Massive capacity Easy to fill Easy to transport Freezer-friendly Multi-pack Cost The bad: Condensation Small cracks in the plastic from being frozen in shape, then moved So-so: I still can't tell if it's condensation or a faulty lid. The majority of the condensation occurs at the spout, so I'm suspicious of the lid. However, for less than $12, I now have a cooling option for my cat, and he seems to very much enjoy it. He's usually on the cot (I stole it from the dogs since they're too posh to use it) with his back or tail resting against the frozen bag. Whether it will continue to stand up to massive use (I've used each bag 8 times so far) remains to be seen. The small cracks I see in the plastic are superficial, thus far. They're a product of that section of the bag being frozen, but with only a small layer of ice resulting. When I lift the bag from the freezer, those spots tend to break, which causes extra stress on the plastic, potentially breaking it in those sections. I've tried my best to eliminate the water in those sections by getting all the air out, but there is always a very thin layer of water, and that will always freeze. It's not perfect, but it's working. Especially when Monkey is smart enough to go Under the cot. If he goes beneath the bag, then the cold air is falling and acts like an air conditioner. I've learned that, if I go camping in the future I will have these bags with me for the cooling effect alone. It's a 6º difference or so beneath the cot, and more if butted right up against the bag.

My water froze for 5 days....
...and I am so glad I filled 3 of these containers! These allowed me to have coffee and a cooked meal throughout the incident. I always filter any water that goes into storage, the the crystal clear bags let me assess what I choose to allocate the water for. Yes, the first thing, after flushing, and a shower, was to refill the water containers! It was a good time to assess my preps for blissfulness and work-ability. I might add, the bags are easy to transport, i.e., not heavy.

Apartment dwellers, these are for you
I initially bought these because my apartment building has fussy plumbing, and i wanted to be able to flush the toilet during the several times a year repair outages, and i really don't have room to store gallon jugs just for that. What i actually use these for is hauling water out to my patio for my plants. No more spilling on the rug carrying open containers.

Perfect for my needs
These are exactly what I needed to pre-mix my plant fertilizer for watering. So much better than gallon jugs! They're very thick and sturdy and I love the comfortable molded plastic grip. Great value for the price. I'd love it if they came with a spout though :)

Good Purchase
Bought these for a motorcycle trip and they held up very well. The seams hold better than expected and there was no loss of water. Cleaning the inside could be a bit difficult without the proper brush. I've only used for water so when I was finished just used a little bit of bleach and water to rinse out. Let dry upside down for a few days to make sure all was dry and stowed them away for the next time.

I like that is takes no space. But its almost impossible to fill it in a stream. Need a tap or hose to fill it.

Réservoir d'eau de camping léger et pliable d'une bonne capacité qui me permet d'arroser mes plantes sans devoir retourner remplir l'arrosoir au robinet trop souvent.

This product arrived in a plain cellophane bag with no label or manufacturer information, and the product itself lacks any symbol or code to confirm that it is FDA approved. Nor can we find any information about the manufacturer, Supant, online. We are not convinced that it really is food safe, despite the claims on the Amazon listing for the product.
