It is a more artistic piece for your desk and creates interest for your work space. Functionally it works GREAT!! I use it as a Tickler File for current projects that I am working through. The space between the dividers is one-inch, and supports them well! Charts, folders, mail, letters, etc. standup GREAT, and don't fall out or over. It 'looks' so much more attractive, because it is more streamlined and not bulky! I use mine with the triangle in front, and in a priority fashion (most important in the front), but can use sideways as well, either direction. It is made of great quality material and not flimsy. I have bought a lot of desk organizing products through the years, but this is my favorite. Keeps items separated.

Love the size and sturdiness. Worth the price. Very easy to assemble and function as it is.

Easy to put together. It stays in place and doesn’t slide around. They are a bit springy like but I bought a set of these solely to hold all the different colored file folders we use at work. It works perfect for what I needed.

Flimsy. Doesn't hold files straight unless you meticulously make sure they are exactly centered. My front file is leaning over. Returning it.

I use this to organize my desk files.Otherwise it’s just a pile that I have to constantly sort through.It’s very easy to assemble and doesn’t take up too much room.

The base of this is metal with no sort of rubber feet. So if you put this on a wooden shelf or other hard surface, there's no sort of softer cushioning. Also, the top part has a spring-like construction. Its under stress. You fit one end into opposite ends of the base and it stay in place due to its spring stress. So it slightly bends the base. This causes the base to not sit perfectly flat. In my case, I had this on a wooden shelf. But due to its not sitting flat, and having no soft feet, every time I removed a file or inserted a file, it would rock and bang against the shelf. It ended up being loud to use which in turn, felt cheap. Returned it unfortunately.

For what I paid for was ok not what I thought it would be. But it works.
