Even my dermatologist could not help much w/ prescriptions for treatment of the dermatitis that I contracted several years ago. I therefore decided to try various shampoos, etc., on my own, but I fared little better, until just recently when I ordered some Dercos Dandruff Shampoo. What an amazing product! After only 2 shampoos in a 4–5-day period, the itching & red, scaly skin is all but gone. I sure wish I had tried this shampoo a lot sooner! Great item has helped with my dry itchy scalp, and I love the fact it has no scent. A little goes a long way and I have been using for two months and have seen some improvement in my scalp.

I gotta hype this stuff up because I’m honestly over the moon about it curing my scalp issues. For the last year or two, I’ve been battling for the first time EVER what I thought was dandruff extreme buildup, flakes all over my scalp, and even patches on my ears. I was washing my hair so much because from the minute I’d get out of the shower the MINUTE I’d still have flakes on my scalp!! Like chunks of flakes not little ones It was a total nightmare, and I felt so insecure. I tried everything to figure out what was going on dandruff, seborrheic dermatitis, dry scalp, product buildup, allergic reactions etc. The tiny oily scaly patches that would come up on my ears made me think it was SD caused by Malassezia yeast I went through so many products and tricks, but nothing fully worked ▪ Nizoral which targets Malassezia with its antifungal ingredient, ketoconazole, but ketoconazole and selenium sulfide (the ingredient in the shampoo that worked) havedifferent mechanisms. Selenium sulfide has a stronger effect on reducing skin cell turnover. ▪Head & Shoulders which uses zinc pyrithione, which is antifungal and antibacterial but less potent against severe Malassezia overgrowth compared to selenium sulfide. It’s great for mild dandruff but might not have been strong enough. ▪T-Gel which uses coal tar to slow skin cell growth and reduce inflammation, but it’s not as effective against fungal causes like Malassezia. ▪ Salicylic acid which exfoliates the scalp to remove flakes and buildup, but it doesn’t target yeast or fungal overgrowth. ▪ Natural Remedies like tea tree oil or apple cider vinegar which can have mild antifungal properties, but they’re often not strong enough for stubborn cases of dandruff or seborrheic dermatitis. ▪ Washing less, washing more, changing my diet, limiting products to just shampoo and conditioner or even just water—I tried it all! The flakes just kept coming back, and I was ready to book a dermatologist appointment because I couldn’t take it anymore. Then I saw a random comment on TikTok raving about this shampoo so I figured, why not? I got the shampoo and conditioner, and OH MY GOD, it’s been a game-changer! I started using it every time I washed my hair (about every second or third day), and by the third wash, I had ZERO flakes no buildup, no flakes on my scalp, and the patches on my ears were gone and still are 2 months later! I’ve kept using it every time I shampoo, and it doesn’t dry out my scalp at all it’s been absolutely incredible. My husband used to think I had dry scalp because of other dandruff shampoos, but this one (with the conditioner) keeps my scalp happy and flake-free. I don’t know for sure what i had, if I had stubborn dandruff, a yeast overgrowth, or what, but this is the only thing in two years that has actually cleared up my scalp completely. Most dandruff shampoos say not to use them every day, but I used this one every wash, and maybe that’s what made the difference or maybe it’s just the magic of selenium sulfide! Either way, I’m so grateful I found this before I lost my mind. 😄 If you’re struggling with flakes, buildup, or an itchy scalp, PLEASE try this!!! It’s been a game changer!!

Worked very well. Helped with dry and itchy scalp and flakes. I honestly didn’t have faith in it because I’ve tried so many different ones and this one worked super fast and quick. I also like the fragrance- clean and fresh. Used with Conditioner.

Our Dermatologist recommended this product for my husband's dry scalp issues. My husband has used it several times and said it makes his hair soft and conditions his scalp so that it isn't flaky. It is very good for those issues. CAUTION: DO NOT WEAR SILVER NECKLACE OR EARRINGS IF YOU USE THIS PRODUCT IN THE SHOWER AS IT WILL TARNISH JEWELRY BIG TIME!
